It does! I hope it works out.
No, it wasn't. It was supposed to open in March but they pushed it back to June, 18th. The new roller coaster was open and I did manage to take an illegal picture of it.:scared1:

When we got back to the room it was about 12:30 and we just crashed! Mitch was on his laptop working. We had 10:15 ADRS for the next morning at Whispering Canyon but I didn't dare set an alarm. I thought it we made it, great. If not, we'll be back. 4 days of doing park opening to closing was really starting to catch up. I was the first one up which was at 10:15. The others woke up a couple minutes after. I put on the weather channel and it was cold. All that rain had really made a decrease in the temperature! It was Thanksgiving and we were leaving Disney World today. We had a quick breakfast of Casey's brownies and milk with some muffins from home and began packing. We had Stacy on one TV and the Thanksgiving parade on the other. When we were done packing we got dressed and called bellhop to come get our luggage. They were going to watch it because we still had more fun to have. Today's agenda consisted of DTD! I was excited because we hadn't really done, done DTD since 2005!!
This was new in the lobby.

We could of walked but we would of been in trouble if it rained so we drove.
It was right across the street!

The girls don't really care for Legos so we just did a 10 second walk through. I'm sure if we were there with the cousins then it would of been a different story.
DSC01979.jpg

Next stop was the World of Disney. This store is HUGE!! I was in heaven. Only problem was children were lost. I'll get into that in a minute.
DSC01980.jpg

Princess and the frog was very big through out the store.

I had Pilgrim Minnie in my hand and then thought I can't take Minnie and not Mickey, that wouldn't be very nice. In the end I put them both back. In January they had them at the outlet store for 4 $ each so they came home with me then.

Before you start freaking out about the title, let me explain. Since Amy was really little she has been playing this game with Mitch. They lay in bed together and watch TV. Amy goes under the blanket to hide and Mitch calls me and claims "I can't find Amy!" Then I say "Ugh oh, call the police." Meanwhile Amy is laughing her head off. We pretend the police are coming and then a few minutes later I ask "What's this mountain?" Lift off the blanket and there she is! We still play it sometimes.
It was somewhere about this time that I realized I hadn't seen Amy in a while. We all wanted to search for different things so we split up but we were always with in a couple of feet. I asked Mitch if he had her and he didn't! We split up trying to find her I had Emily and the two of us went North and Mitch went south. He found her really fast but it didn't click to him that maybe he should call me saying her found her, so I don't get a heart attack.

I think it was at this time that Emily got lost. She had a phone so I called her. Crisis averted!
Way too many shopping bags later we were out. I got a couple of tea and lemonade mixes as gifts for people. It came in a cute container and it was only 3$ each. I'm hitting myself for not getting one for me, we got a mickey cutting board, a mickey cookie cutter, a shirt for Mitch, each kid got a stuffed animal and a Kookie pen, we got 3 mugs (one for my mom, and I think that's it.

Coming up next: Where do we have Thanksgiving lunch? I tried for weeks to get an ADR and then the restaurant was empty!!

Barbara glad the girls were fine and just shopping around! can't wait to hear all about where you guys finally settled down to eat!
:wave2: Connie

Anybody hear about the new show "Kate Plus 8" starting a week from today?! I thought the cameras were out of the kids' lives for good. It was always a guilty pleasure of mine, to watch it. I think I'll be turning into the first few episodes.
What do you all think of this
?

I'm subbing in trying to catch up. I'm on page 3 (I think) and I am so freaked out about the bed bugs! Yikes!:scared1: Lovin' all the pictures though!!

I love me some DTD! I've not been in so many of the shops there, and can't wait to see the Christmas shop, Ghiradelli; heck, I haven't even seen Goofy's yet! Lots to see and do there, for sure!

Barbara-I'm slowly, but surely, trying to get caught up with everyone.

Great updates---I completely understand about the WoD store. I can't relax enough to enjoy shopping while I'm there, for trying to keep up with kids. This trip, I told my girls to put their phones on vibrate/ring and put them in their pockets where they'd feel it vibrate. Then, wouldn't you know it---one of them had tried to call me three or four times, and I was the one not answering my phone! :rotfl: They gave me a hard time about that one.

:yay: for a possible trip in September. I wish you could extend the dates until the 11th :rolleyes1

Looks like you had a fun time at WOD and DTD in general. So kind of the girls to get lost on you.

All caught up!! Looking forward to reading more when you have time to post. :goodvibes:

I don't dislike a lot of people, but from what I see of this woman, I dislike her, (I guess I dislike her actions) and I won't give the show my time. I liked it when it first came out, but it went downhill fast. The kids are cute, but Kate thinking she is some kind of movie star makes me sick. I don't buy her 'everything is for the kids' statements. That is judgemental, I suppose, but I don't believe it. If she didn't have those kids, she would be another housewife, but she thinks she is really somebody, and I can't stand that. Jon ended up being a mess, too. I just think the entire situation is a mess, and I won't be watching.

First thing in the morning is a good time to go to World of Disney. It's not busy, so you can move around more freely. Jill is going to try to get over there without the girls one morning this summer. At opening, there used to be a little opening ceremony. I don't know if they still do that, though.

Just saw this was on TV tonight-
Pixar Short Films
A collection of Disney short films is showcased including "Presto", "Lifted", "Jack-Jack Attack", "Unidentified Flying Mater", "For the Birds", "Geri's Game", "Mater and the Ghostlight", "Mike's New Car", "Red's Dream" and "Rescue Squad Mater."(TVKirby note - not Disney Park related, but one I feel Disney fans should know about)
Wednesday June 02, 2010 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM Channel - ABC Family Channel

If you have a few minutes to tune in, it's really cute.
I'll be back for replies later on tonight.

Hey Connie,
I always worry about everything. When Emily was born I dreamt her arm fell off because my grandmother kept telling me it would! I think I get it from her.
Remember where I was trying to get ADRs on the Fab 4 TR?? Well, that's the place.
I'm subbing in trying to catch up. I'm on page 3 (I think) and I am so freaked out about the bed bugs! Yikes!:scared1: Lovin' all the pictures though!!
:welcome: Oh yes, the bed bugs were so disgusting.
Enjoy reading.:goodvibes

Me too. I still have a lot to cover at DTD. I just can never pull myself out of the parks to get there.:goodvibes
All caught up again! That's great news about your September trip!!!

I totally understand. Lots of DIS hours are needed to stay on top of everybody.
Emily usually has her phone on vibrate in her bag which really ticks me off.
Hehe! I would be 'punished' for that.

I wish I could! I'd love to finally meet you and get the girls together. One day we'll overlap.:goodvibes
It was a very fun day. When I plan non-stop action at the parks for the next trip I'll have to remember how much fun we had and plan some DTD time.
Wasn't it kind of them?! One time when Amy was 2 she ran out of the fitting room in Macy's and was completely gone! 15 minutes later we found her outside by the sliding door. So scary!
I was planning on doing an update but for some reason PB uploaded my pics a little small so I'll have to re-upload them tomorrow.

I knew she was phony from that episode of the Utah trip when she was to sick to get her kids' ski clothes on and then all of the sudden she was magically better and could go to the spa?! She just goes around the country telling her full of crap story she expects everyone to believe. The kids are cute! I think I'll be tuning into the first couple of episodes just to see how things have changed and to see how the kids have grown. Plus I heard the 1st episode is in Sea World.
We went to WOD around 9AM one year and it was empty. I don't remember if there is an opening show. It will be nice for Jill to shop with out having to navigate a stroller through tight spaces.:goodvibes
OHhh thanks! Setting my DVR now :goodvibes
Katie, that was from the night before. Sorry! Here is the link for when Disney shows will be on TV:http://www.bartlett-sloan.net/tv/agenda.php3?modeagenda=soon:goodvibes

Hey everybody,
Sorry I've been MIA! I've had about 5 minutes a day to DIS. I've been really busy with work. I had to close grades for 2,000 kids and pack up my room as if I won't be back next year. I will have the same room so why do we all have to pack up and take off all the decorations? I don't know! Mitch was on a business trip for a few days. On Tuesday it was his birthday so we were busy celebrating. School ended for the girls and I on Wednesday. Emily woke up today with a swollen throat and can hardly speak. The girls and I are going to NY in 10 days for a few weeks. We just finished having Disney night! Lots of fun! I had actually planned this 2 weeks ago and then found out last night, tonight was TS night on Disney Channel! We had Bo Peep's lamb chops, Ham's pigs in a blanket, Green army men greens, and Rex's chicken nuggets. We had TS decorations and games. Oh, and a cake! The cake was cute but it was a failure at the same time! (Cake decorating is not for me!!) :scared1:
We all fell in love with TS 1 and 2! The girls were cracking up. I started tearing up in the second movie when Jessie does her flash back on Emily. It was even harder with a DD named Emily.
Oh and about the Disney trip. I was sold on Labor day week until..........

Summer Nightastic started. I went on Youtube and watched MSEP and the fireworks. Oh my god, it was amazing!!! Especially the POTC in the fireworks! Yozers! After that I had to run numbers for the last week of summer. August 16th-21st! All the mods were filled and values all they have is All Star Sports. There is availability at all the resorts just not with free dining. The All Stars scare me! Those rooms look really, really small! I think we would have to get two. Then to seal the deal, Mitch comes out of his office all excited and said "It's back!" I asked him "What's back?" "MSEP! I LOVED that parade!" We have to go this summer to see it!:scared1:
I never knew it meant that much to him! So, that's where we stand with the trip. If we got in August we'll get 7 day PHs and when there are 3 days left upgrade to the weekday pass and then go for Thanksgiving!
Also, if anyone has a Disney visa I have ?s for you.:goodvibes

I'm finally caught up! :) And now I really want to go shopping at Disney...really, really, really bad! :rotfl:

I hope you get to plan a Sept trip. The prices are really good...hard to pass up, huh? ;)
