Magic Double-dip "SCOOP AWAY THE POUNDS"

Hey Carolyn - welcome!:cheer2:

Mom2dil - :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: three cheers for each pound!

We are doing good gals! I missed the cruise meet chat for my gym work-out and although I was sad, knew it was the best thing for me! I did the hour aerobics again and really am enjoying it. Picked up some fresh rotissary (sp?) chicken and had cucumber/tomatoe salad a yummy refreshing salad for summertime!

FairyGodMother - good for you for trying something new and kicking it up a notch...but DO NOT hurt yourself... we want to play on this cruise - no hurting oneself ok? I'll be watching you!

Congrats my ROCKIN SISTAH!!!! For hitting the big 10! I thought I would too my last weigh in - but alais (period came) although I think it was just fine as it was the first in two months!!!! Yikes, I'm getting old - going through the last change. However, I am really thinking I'll like the "wise woman" ceremony! Even if it's just us!:Pinkbounc :cheer2::cheer2::Pinkbounc:thumbsup2 :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: There - that's your 10 pound cheer just for you !!!!

Welcome Carolyn

Mom2dil congrats.

Tomorrow is my day and I am a little nervous. Not because I have not stuck to the plan, but I have reviewed my week and am not getting in all my points. This is not a good thing. I will try harder tonight.

I have resorted to wearing sneakers at work (not very attractive) but works great for the walking. I walk faster as well.

My raquetball partner is out this week for surgery. I hope she is back on board next week.

I am gonna try the stairs again today, except I am on the top deck and I do not want a heartattack. I may do part and the elevator the rest. Gonna play it by ear.

Well I gotta get back to work.

Peggy-Jo I forgive you for not showing up last night, your health is far more important. Congrats to you for being committed. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the warm welcome, all! DH left for a week this morning..seems to be easier for me when I'm just feeding the kids and I. We'll see...

You guys are great...Keep up the good work!

Isn't this the cutiest Tigger ever? I am making signs (at work) for our trip to post on our cabin door when we are off doing things, or for someone's Bday (not mentioning whom). I found some really cute Tigger's!

Ok, I also bought neon green paper, so you won't be able to miss us Diser's! I found a cute Tigger with a cake!

I better get out of here and head to the gym - cuz I'm getting hungry and I don't want to get the shakes...after my swim! Ok, y'all chat with ya tomorrow!

faireygod mother: I will be thinking of you tomorrow! You sound like you have a great mind frame about this exercise thing- keep taking those steps and wearing those sneakers-keep up the good work!

TiggersPal: Your tigger was "tigger-rific"! So super cute! :thumbsup2

Dee, hope today was a good day!

Peggy Jo, CUTE Tigger! I need you here to help me with door signs. I have vague ideas (and photo paper that I plan to affix magnets, too), but I lack a lot in the technological execution area! We bought Disney Magic Artist, which is fun, but I don't know how to translate my ideas to reality. I'm afraid the program may just end up down with the kids software...

(DD just saw your Tigger...her face lit up...good way to start the day!) :cheer2:

Just back from weigh in and I am down another 3.2lbs. I definately feel good today.

Thanks for the support.

Peggy Jo, I can now see the Tigger and he is VERY cute.

Jackie, how did it go for you????

Ibouncetoo lost another 1.2 pounds!!!

:Pinkbounc :cheer2: :moped: (that last one is because she's "Cruisin'").

Glad you liked the Tigger...

Carolyn - I would be GLAD to help you with your door signs! Anything I can do!

I'm also glad your DD liked Tigger.... who is her favorite? How old is she? I don't remember - please forgive me if you've posted it before. It's my mind, I'm losing it!

Dee - CONGRATS!!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::yay: YOU GO GIRL!!!!

I was supposed to weigh in today - but had to have my tire replaced this morning on the way to work and with my dentist appointment at 1:00 I'll have to go tomorrow morning. I have the day off - because we are heading up North for my DH birthday celebration this weekend!

I know it will be good, because my inches are changing! I can feel a huge difference in my pants. (Not to mention that darn bra...) Oh well, first place I lose it. Last place my caboose. I noticed that the swimming is really helping my legs, but you know when you first start working out and the muscles are tightening up and then the fat just feels like there is more of it than before? I hate that feeling and that's where I am at. I just realize now, why I have so many "numbers" to lose. Yuck. Was that TMI? (too much information?)

Dee and Jackie...Good Grief, women! There won't be anything left of you soon!! I am so impressed!! Great work this week!!!

Today's my "official" (only because I've designated it so!) weigh in, too, but I was only down 1 from my 10. (If I think, down 11, it sounds better, doesn't it?) So, better than the other day when I was up 3, BUT I'm convinced I'm on the right track, now. So, maybe...next week...it'll be down again...:)

Peggy Jo...when I get another burst of door sign incentive, be prepared for questions...thanks for the offer! DD is 4 (5 in June). She loves everything girly, but most things Disney, too. Sooo, Tigger and Pooh are in, Kim Possible way in, but the Princesses are at the top. Aurora is her absolute favorite, because, of course, she wears a pink dress:). Oh, and, yes, I understand about the starting working out muscle to perceived fat ratio. Hang in there...it's working!!!

Absolutely beautiful weather here today! (DH is in Cleveland and it's thunderstorming.) Poor guy...

Carolyn

Carolyn - 4/5 is such the PERFECT age - in my book. They are so adorable you cannot possibly say no to them. (At least I can't which is why I'm a great aunt and would make a horrible mother!) :confused3

Well, I'm back from the 3 hour dentist appointment - :guilty: have I said how much I love my job this week?

I LOVE MY JOB!!!!
My boss wasn't even looking for me, then when I got back - I said...does anyone care? He said, OF COURSE we do... I felt bad because I have a four day weekend and really should have scheduled it on Friday (at the time I didn't have the day off ) and you have to schedule so far in advance - who knew?

Anyway, just glad I have a "plan" now, and next year by this time - a whole new smile! Braces, (yes at pre-50) crowns, implants, the whole 9!

Ok, have some actual work to do before I leave here at 6:00 -to meet ibouncetoo and DH for his pre-birthday celebration!

Carolyn

I have so much to lose that these pounds are not even drops in the bucket. I am happy to just watch the numbers go down.

Congrats to you as well and you too Jackie.

Good luck Peggy Jo on your weigh in. Stay on track this weekend.

Well I am taking my sleepy head off to bed.

Ahemmmmmm.....that's 1.5 thank you very much! ::yes:: Although tomorrow morning maybe it really would have been 1.2.....I had a DQ Dilly Bar at work today (we were celebrating a good ratings book!). YIKES!

Keep up the good work everyone!

Hello ladies
It seems like many of you gals are really doing AMAZING. The loses every week are really inspiring. Keep up the good work!!I am happy to say that I have lost another 2 pds making it 9 down and many more to go. I was beyond happy because after afew stressful weeks I was amazed I did not gain. I think the biggest factor is making sure I drink my water.
Dee if you dont mind me asking how much have you lost? I look foward to seeing your post they really gives me hope that this can be done.
Jackie
You are on a roll girl keep it up!!!!
Peggy Jo
Sometimes it means so much more to feel a diffference in you jeans then what the scale reflects. Keep up the good work!!Also love that tigger! Where did you find him?
Keep up the GREAT work girls :cheer2: :cool1: :cheer2:  :cool1:

:cheer2: Michelle :cheer2:

I put your 'status' on page one. Keep up the good work!

I'm not going anywhere near the scale today, as I feel all bloaty this morning...gonna wait for that feeling to pass. A day of plenty of water and some extra moving around (a dip in Peg's pool this afternoon :) ) should do the trick. I had two restaurant meals yesterday (one Chinese) and you never really know how much salt you are getting I guess.

ONWARD & DOWNWARD everyone!

Yeah, Michelle!! Way to go!

Jackie...swim a couple laps for me in Peggy's pool...Ok, I don't really swim, but I can do a mean lounge:). Have fun!:)

Peggy...wow...I'm so impressed you're getting braces! The week after I got mine off as a 14 year old, my mom got hers on. She was so diligent about caring for her teeth, because she'd waited so long and had to pay for it all herself. You go, girl!

Now, Dee, 3.2 pounds in a week is outstanding in anyone's book...drop in a bucket or no! Enjoy them, or rather the loss of them!

Have to share...I'm so giddy I just about can't stand it and it's not even my news, but my DS7 passed his HAM radio license today. He's studied a little EVERY day this school year, but has never even passed a practice test. Still can't quite believe it myself...I know, I know, a little nerdy, but it is way cool! On the way to celebratory ice cream (no, I wasn't even tempted...too excited!), he said, "Man, that's how hard work pays off, huh, Mom!"

Carolyn

Carolyn..tell your sone "yes" that is how hard work pays off. Congrats for him and you too. What a valuable lesson he learned at such a young age. Way to go :thumbsup2

To the little man with his HAM hand held radio license! Is that correct?

Back from overeating, but lots of walking Friday/Saturday. Had a big breakfast today... so back on track this afternoon and tomorrow!! Off to the gym at some point, but I have to go check up on the horses since we are back in town. And try and find my sister.... (she did a great job of taking care of the dogs/cat!) I bought her a little present while we were gone!

Have a great Memorial Day everyone! (SAFE ONE TOO!)

Wow, you're all on a roll! I'm sitting here with a rumbling tummy. I guess it was the powdered donuts and 3 Coors Lights last night.....
Yep, stress got the best of me this week.
Doesn't seem to matter though. My weight never changes. I can eat like a horse, or diet like a mad-woman. I think my body is so comfy here.
Guess it's time to excercise!
After I get through the IRS woes and the problems at work and my son's never ending illnesses I can focus some energy. Man, running a business is great at times, but sometimes it's really tough to be the boss when things go wrong. I run an entertaiment company and do events planning. Sounds like such a fun job, right???? Nope! I work every holiday and every weekend when most people have the day off. I can rarely ever go to a party unless it's on a Tuesday afternoon.
I'm rambling... but stress got to me this week. Funny how employees "get sick" on holidays, isn't it?
Starting over (tomorrow)..... can I get an "awwww poor baby?"
I must admit, you're all very inspiring. Keep up the good work!!!!!

:grouphug: Here's a hug for you - "poor baby" - and I know exactly what you mean... just remember :hourglass heals all !!! As my Mom used to say "this too shall pass"... I hope your Colby gets better soon...and you have a much better day than it started... BI BO BI BO (breathe in, breathe out) one of the gals at my office has this on her wall, it's a good reminder!
