I went ahead and ordered 2 of the Maclaren Quest strollers (I have a 2 yo and a skinny 7 yo). They are so totally worth it - I can't believe I never purchased one before. Even my dh and my older dd (16) love them.

This is the cheapest I found them - even though you have to pay shipping (but it is reasonable). The discount isn't taken until the end. They ship quickly (at least for my order).

Anyway, it was from Planet Kids - I ordered 2 Maclaren Quest strollers, one Maclaren universal stroller bag, and the stroller connectors (to connect both strollers so it's like a double stroller to push) for $268 shipped.

Here's the link in case anyone's interested.

I just bought the Triumph and I am equally thrilled (except that my youngest is 2 1/2 and I wish I had bought a nice umbrella like this when my oldest was younger 10 years ago!!!)

I am curious about the differences between the Quest and Triumph. I couldn't figure out the difference since the 05' Triumph looks just as big as the Quest. Do you know what the differences are?

Thanks! :sunny:

The Quest padding is thicker and has suede at the top. The way the recline is different. From what I remember, the triumph has a buckle that you weave the strap through and loosen to recline. The quest has a clasp type buckle. Someone may know more.

We love our Quest! :)
We used it this past May with our little guy who turned 7 months on the trip. It was so nice to have such a lite stoller. We also have the universal organizer and it was really nice. I have a small Eddie Bauer diaper bag. I filled that with what I needed and put that in the basket. Then I hung my video camera bag on the handles. I also kept the digital camera and a few other small things in that bag where they were easy to get to. We used the organizer for drinks, napkins, maps - small things like that. Oh we also kept that rain cover that came with it in the basket underneath. That thing fits on the stroller so perfectly that even during a downpour the baby stayed dry. :Pinkbounc
The rest of us were soaked through our ponchos!
Enjoy you new purchase!

Thanks for the info! Do you have their phone number? For some reason, I can't access their website.

I really appreciate this. I have the Maclaren Vogue (similar to the Quest) that's 5 years old and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I need to purchase another one and I'd love to know their price.

Thanks again!

I think Maclaren's are the best WDW strollers!! I have 2 Quests, 2 Triumphs, and 2 Volos, for my 2 and 4 year old. I originally bought a Triumph when my youngest was about 10 months old and I didn't like the buckle recline for a baby that age. So, I sold it and bought a Quest. I loved it so much, I bought another for my older daughter. They're great for WDW trips. Earlier this year, I bought 2- '04 model Volos for $40 each, thinking they'd be perfect for their ages and that time of the year. They've been great for the mall and other indoor places, but I started to worry about needing the sunshades for WDW. I priced the accessory pack for the Volos and decided I'd be better off just getting 2 Triumphs (fuzzy math and logic, but that's a different story). So, a last week, I bought the 2 Triumphs for a total of $211.98. Now, I have the 6 single Maclarens and a Mac Twin Traveller lined up in my office and I'm trying to decide which ones to take. For my 2 year old, I love that the Quest reclines further and is more plush, just in case she falls asleep in it. However, I'm leaning toward the Triumph b/c the shoulder strap is so helpful when travelling. For my 4 year old, the Volo is perfect, but I'm concerned about the lack of a sunshade. So, I'm thinking the Triumph for her too. Either way, I really need to make a decision so I can sell a few of these before DH has me committed to some kind of Disney/Stroller addicts institution!!

For what its worth, I've bought several strollers from Albee Baby (http://www.specialtybaby.com) on eBay with great success. They clear out excess inventory on eBay under the ID Babysurplus. Its a great way to get prior year's models for significantly less. Here's their eBay store:http://stores.ebay.com/Welcome-to-Babysurplus_W0QQssPageNameZviQ3asibQ3astoreviewQQtZkm

I love my Quest too! I just wished I had bought it sooner with my son instead of going through 3 I think. I bought it mainly for WDW when he was 3 (back in Jan) because he needed something to support him and most strollers he was too tall for. Of course, I knew we were having another baby otherwise I couldnt justify spending that much money for something hed use only a few times. I cant wait to use it with our daughter. At 6 weeks, she cant quite sit up enough even with support in it since it doesnt recline all the way.

I have a Volo and was looking at the Quest, Triumph or the Techno to take to Disney also......curious what their differences are too. I do see that the Quest seat cushioning goes down further for the legs so it may be more comfy on the legs.
I used the Volo today at a local amusement park and loved it! We also have a cheaper Graco umbrella stroller that I bought at Walmart that we took. Hated it! I am taking it back to the store. I think it would of been fine had we not also had the Volo, but no one wanted to push the Graco after pushing the Volo. I do want to get a 2nd Mac that reclines though.
