Lots of Business Dress CMs

I like that. I just wish the actual executives were in the parks more like Chapek and Iger.

Considering walt used to be able to stand in line and not get noticed back in the day. would you even notice if they were and acting like any other guest?

The higher ups don't go in the parks often because they know they aren't getting the same treatment as the normal guest and they can't really tell what is wrong when that is the case. Meg Crofton told us that from my CP meeting with her. I know she isn't with the company any more but she told us she wished she could go in the parks and try to experience it as a normal guest to figure out what needs to be fixed but as soon as she would scan her CM ID at the gate someone would radio to another department that Meg Crofton had entered and by the time she made it to the emporium all of the MK knew she was there and was on their best behavior. She did say she often would pop into the resorts since she didn't have to scan anything there and would dress as normal and non-business as possible to check on things.

Because Meg Crofton couldn't have purchased a one day ticket and entered anonymously? Heaven forbid!

Possibly not the average guest but I'm sure people like us on disboards would notice them.

Personally, I wouldn't know Bob Iger from Adam the Woo, especially if he was in shorts, T-shirt, baseball cap and shades.

Being recognized by a handful of uber-fans and getting treated extra politely by CMs is hardly an excuse for not trying to quietly visit the parks and just generally hang out and observe/listen to the tourists.

The past few times I've been there we have noticed more of the CMs in business attire walking around. They always had those sticks you pick up trash with in their hands. Both my son and I commented on a: how hot they must have been in those suits/ties and if women panty hose and b: how weird it looked seeing them with the sticks. Mind you, we never saw one actually use one so we assumed it was a requirement.

I saw this a number of times in the parks on the trip we just got back from this past week. I wondered what positions they held since they were all dressed up but wondering the parks with the pick up trash sticks.

I did see Iger in the park last summer. He was filming something on Main Street when my family had an pre-park ADR at Crystal Palace. I did a double take and pointed it out to my wife and she concurred it was him. Tried to linger but was shooed away.

That said, it really shouldn't be hard for the upper-echelon members to now get in, just use a fake MDE account that isn't tied to their real name.

Not sure on their exact positions but those are normal and in the parks every day

I also like the 'back to the floor' approach. No matter how high you need to know what the customers are saying. You can only get that in the resorts and parks by actually speaking to us!

Most of them are just area managers. I.E. the ones you see out and about on the promenade in EPCOT are usually Epcot attractions/friendship boats managers. Sometimes they are merchandise managers as well. Every once in a while you get even higher than that out on the promenade. I'm sure the other parks and divisions have similar break downs so the business dress CMs with trash pickers are just area managers there as well.
