LOST SEASON 3 **Official** Discussion/Speculation Thread (No Spoilers)

We noticed the glow too, we were trying to figure out if it was a lens flare or meant to be- on this show, probably meant to be.

Well, last night's show was a breath of fresh air. It was soooo nice to get back to the beach! I'm glad Kate made the connection between Danielle and Alex, but I don't think it's smart to try to rescue Jack right away. Time will tell!

BUT, Jack isnt locked up. He is on a boat. i bet they will find him gone already. then Jack does back to rescues them!

WAS Jack on the boat with Ben? I think he was still on the beach on the "work" island, wasn't he?

He left as well. He was on another boat though, not Ben's. At the end of that episode, Juliet explained they couldn't stay there because his friends knew where they were now then the closed the episode with those two on the boat.

Okay....I must have missed that part. Thanks!:thumbsup2

Good episode. Don't know if it's because it was a Sayid episode but I'm leaning that way ;)

I liked it to. Sayid is one of the few characters that I really like.

This episode is the first one where my husband and I were yelling at the tv screen- the story line was good but there were so many fake looking/non LOST things that it was a bit of a disappointment. Sayid acting so cowardly when he was first captured (yes, anyone would be scared in that situation but it was very un-Sayid like), the way the guy with the patch (I don't hear well so never caught his name, was it Mikhail?) threw the iced tea seemed so staged, the way John was so giddily (excuse the made up word) tempted to play the chess game, and other things. It wasn't necessarily the actions, but more the way they were filmed/acted out that bothered us. Anyone else feel this way or are we just too picky? I really feel it was too cheesy, not at all like other episodes.

I loved last night's episode!! It was so good to see Sayid and so many other characters on the beach. The ping pong game was funny. I love this Hurley/Sawyer interaction.

Did anyone catch what the red ink said on the paper or what the typing said? I totally didn't see.

I liked last night's episode too. I loved that Hurley beat Sawyer and now he can't call anyone a nickname for a week, too funny:lmao:

I'm still confused as to whether or not Sayid really tortured that woman. I know he admitted to it, but I'm wondering if he did, just to give her peace. What do you all think?

I think I remember seeing a backstory where sayid tortured a woman. I think he really did do it.

I think he did it too. I think he is really REALLY good at bluffing.
He was a master torturer after all.

I thought the woman he was going to torture was Nadia, but he couldn't go through with it. In fact, he helped her escape. Was there another woman?

Also, did anyone catch that the cat's name was Nadia? It also looked like the same cat.

I wonder why that woman told the Russian guy to shoot her. They must be hiding something big for her to be willing to die for it.

Sledge has a screen capture of the red ink, everything including the red ink is in Russian. Just so happens I work with a college (AF ROTC) student who is fluent in Russian. I'm going to see if I can get him to translate the writing. He'll probably think I'm nuts but then again maybe not...his sister another student in AF ROTC is a fan of the show so she may have already called him ;)

I thought he was in love with Nadia? But it has been so long ago I can't remember.....
I don't know why the woman told the Russian guy to shoot her. Wish we could get translation for the conversation...
I still love this show :goodvibes

Woot for friends! I'm sure it has to be significant, all those little details seem to be.

I think he did because when he first saw her, he seemed to recognize her.
Sayid acting so cowardly when he was first captured (yes, anyone would be scared in that situation but it was very un-Sayid like)
Ah, but if he was pretending to be innocent then he would pretend to be scared as well.

Does anyone else wonder if the cat was the black smoke monster??
The producers have infered(sp?) in the past that in season 2 we saw the smoke monster alot but didn't reallize it. Theories ahve stated that the monster cantake other forms, the black horse, jacks dad, mr echo's brother, ect. Could the cat have also been it?

As for the women...Im pretty sure the past episodes was with Nadia that he refused ot torture. That said I'm willing to bet he did torture that lady.

One last note...Locke need to stay away form Computers!

Haha, I've been so sick and tired lately that that went right over my head  Let's just hope that's the reason behind it!
