LOST - Last Season (NO SPOILERS)

Grr...that darn Jack! Wouldn't you at least smash the mirror AFTER you turn it to 108, just to see what would happen?!

No, Hurley was saying what if they time-jumped to the past and died there, what if the corpses were them? LOL Still funny though and kind of freaky at the same time.

OK, I am so sick of cry-baby Jack. Really! What makes him so special? I am sick of him treating Hurley like some second class citizen when it comes to figuring out what to do to get out of a situation. What, he's the only one with idea's, and he won't go along with anyone else? Hurley has proved himself time and time again, yet Jack is still going to sit there and rudely tell Hurley he's not going anywhere.

Oh, and don't get me started on sideways Jack with the kid. He is raising his kid to be a cry-baby too, but who wouldn't be if you grew up watching your dad cry over a falling leaf every fall?

I think the Hurley thing was another stab at Lost fan theories. :thumbsup2
I, too, wanted to smack Jack around.

ITA :headache:

Does anybody have any theories of how Penny's father plays into all this?

Nope, but I'm sure it'll be sweet!:thumbsup2

I really enjoyed last night's episode.

And for all of you upset about not getting answers and getting more questions instead...um...seriously? :goodvibes how long have you been watching Lost? We go through this every season! :lmao:

I'm really enjoying watching the replay of the previous week's episode with the commentary at the bottom. Last night showed little things that I would never have picked up on like the recruiter talking to Locke being the psychic from season (was it 3?). And The Nadler's living in LA instead of NY.

Was the actor that played Jack's son the same actor that played Jack as a boy in previous flashbacks?

I think there was a lot of "meat" to this episode. Lots to think over and look at more closely. Could anyone tell what 108 degrees said?? It looked like "Wall," but my DVR info was covering some of the letters so I am not sure exactly what it said. Jacob just wanted Jack to see the contraption up there and realize a little more of what had brought him to the island..and to get him and Hurley away from the temple....so now the only one left inside the temple is Sayid who has the "sickness" like Claire ( and Danielle...and all her shipmates

I think Jacob sent them to the Temple to protect them but when Sayid was not "cured" he had to get them all out of there. Jin, Sawyer and Kate had already left so he then had to find a way to get Hurley and Jack out. He didn't seem too worried about whoever was coming to the Island after Jack smashed the mirror.

According to IMDB the young man who played David has only been in one episode, last night.

Here's a question, can't really remember too much to keep straight. Didn't Clare give Aaron to Kate to take care of before she disappeared? And did Ben actually take Rosseau's DD?

No, Claire did not give Aaron to Kate. She disappeared into the jungle and Sawyer found Aaron. Yes, the others did kidnap Rosseau's baby!

In the commentary I spoke of above, the guy did mention that Widmore/Linus (I think that's the 2 he referred to), had rules of engagement and he wondered if they didn't parallel the same rules of engagement that Flocke and his adversary have on the island.

I don't recall any of that though.

I don't think so.

I don't think they are the same actor, but since last night was the first night that Jack's son was on the show, I wouldn't bank too heavily that IMDB would immediately have updated their site. I don't think they are the same actors though. I'm almost positive of that.

Didn't Claire appear to Kate in a dream and tell her to get Aaron off the island? I don't think she told her outright. Perhaps it wasn't Claire telling Kate to remove him from the island at all?

I don't remember that. She did appear in a dream when Kate was off the island telling her not to bring him back to the island.

So, what did you all think about what "samuri" dad said to Jack at the piano audition? Something about them being so young and wishing they could intervene/help them?

I had looked back through all of the actors from the show and I didn't see young Jack at all. :thumbsup2 But then again I was doing it on the "down low" at work and was scanning quickly. :rotfl:

My first thought was, "well I guess he's not all snooty about English when there's no Hippie around to translate for him." :rotfl:

My second was more along the lines of...hey wait a minute...I was thinking that he was a pirate from the Black Rock like Richard...and if the island went down I couldn't see how they wouldn't have gone down with the ship. :lmao: (and no, we've never been told that anyone is actually a pirate from the black rock...);)
