Daniel Dae Kim can actually speak Korean. This is from the Entertainment Weekly article about the men of Lost.

I think they are just trying to mislead us all around. The thing I posted was a quote from him in the Entertainment Weekly article. I don't know about this show any more I think they just want us to be totally dazed and confused.

I think they're pretty much saying the same thing. From what I understood he did speak Korean, but wasn't fluent and doesn't have the accent. This next part I read on a message board from someone who is Korean: said their parents are Korean (don't speak English at all or broken English) and they could tell he wasn't fluent and his accent is off.

I didn't see Locke's confession, either. must say I loved the ending with sayid calling him on the hatch. damn that man has eyes on him! he seemed to stare right into Locke's soul with that look.

I have no idea why, but I am very invested in the sayid/shannon romance and hope its not over, just resting.

next week looks very interesting.

While they were getting ready to bury Boone Locke walked up and said it was his fault. He pretty much explained what happened, just didn't mention the hatch or the fact that he couldn't walk. He said he was hurt.

Jack tried tracking Locke but was walking in circles. Kate made him come back to camp and put crushed sleeping pills in his juice so he would get some sleep.

Locke apologized to Shannon then Shannon asked Sayid to do something about the fact that Locke killed Boone.

Sayid was picked up by the CIA in Sydney. They wanted him to hook up with a former friend who was a terrorist and give them info. on the explosives. In exchange they would tell Sayid where Nadia was.

Sayid hooked up with the friend then felt bad about turning him into the CIA. He tried to get the friend out but couldn't (CIA wouldn't let him because the friend didn't know where the explosives were). He talked the friend into carrying out the suicide bombing.

Charlie was carrying for Claire's baby so she could get some sleep and it wouldn't stop crying until Sawyer started talking. So...Charlie had Sawyer read a car magazine or something like that to the baby so it wouldn't cry. It was really cute .

Sayid made Locke take him to the plane and sort of interrogated him on the way. He believed Locke was telling the truth (except for the existence of the hatch). Locke confessed that he was the one who hit Sayid over the head because triangulating the signal would probably have put them all in danger.

Sayid told Shannon he believed that it was an accident (Boone's death) and she didn't believe him so she stole the key from Jack's neck while he was sleeping and stole the gun case. Sayid, Jack and Kate caught up to her and she had the gun on Locke. They tried to talk her out of shooting but she fired anyway. Sayid grabbed her just as the gun fired. It grazed Locke's temple.

Sayid confessed to his friend just as they were going on the suicide mission that he was working for the CIA. The friend got upset and killed himself. The CIA agents gave Sayid a plane ticket to Nadia who was in LA. The plane was leaving in 2 hours but Sayid wanted to claim his friend's body so he told them to change his flight to tomorrow and that's how he ended up on Oceanic flight 815.

I think that was all of the important parts.

EDIT: Sayid was picked up in London, not Sydney. They made him go to Sydney to infiltrate the terrorist cell.

Oh yeah, at the end Sayid went up to talk to Locke. Locke said he was probably sorry he stopped Shannon from shooting him because now Shannon was mad at Sayid. Sayid said no because he believed Locke and also believed Locke was the person with the best chance of getting them off the island. Then he told Locke to take him to the hatch. Locke said "the hatch?" (like he didn't know what it was) and Sayid said "no more lies."

okay, in a nutshell they bury Boone and Shannon doesn't want to say anything so Sayid steps up and says a bit about him, what little he knows. Locke comes up as they are all gathered around and says some kind words, that he was a hero. Jack goes after him, calling him a liar and the cause of Boone's death and attacks him but is so weak he's pulled off easily and collapses. Sun and Kate take him to rest, Kate drugs him with sleeping pills so he will.

Prior to this Sayid asked Shannon if there was anything he could do. She didn't answer then, but does after the funeral. He goes after Locke and questions him, interrogates him. Locke takes him to the plane and says it was an accident. Sayid asks about the hatch, what is it, and Locke says it must refer to the plane they found. At some point during their exchange Locke asks why Sayid doesn't trust him, Sayid says among other things because he has a gun hidden on him. Locke gives him the gun. Sayid threatens him a few times but is satisfied that Locke didn't meant to cause Boone's death.

Sayid heads back to Shannon and tells her Locke is not to blame. Shannon doesn't want to hear it...pretty much has the look, what good is having an Iraqi special forces boyfriend if he won't kill Locke kind of look. She takes off. Meanwhile Jack comes to and realizes the key is gone and freaks out that Locke took it. he and kate take off yelling about it and Sayid comes after them and tells them Shannon must have taken it. The 3 take off into the jungle after her and come across her with the gun aimed at Locke. Locke pleads with Sayid that she doesn't believe him and for Sayid to convince her, Sayid tries but its not swaying her...Sayid tackles her and the gun goes off, nicking him in the head, but he's okay. Shannon is beyond angry at him and tells him to leave her alone.

Other scenes include Charlie babysitting so Claire can rest, but he can't calm the baby down. the only thing that works is Sawyers voice...eventually Sawyer takes to reading an auto magazine to him. pretty funny, especially since he wears the glasses to do it. hehehe.

The backstory tonight is Sayids and is very sad. He's in Australia looking for Nadia when the CIA and Australian force (can't remember what) arrest him. They tell him he needs to cooperate with them and they will tell him where she is, and that they will arrest her if he doesn't do what they want. Long story short they are looking for explosives, his old friend is a part of it, eventually they get the explosives (sayid sets his friend up, wanting to help him escape the cia, but friend kills himself). They tell Sayid Nadia is in Irvine, CA and give him a plane tix. he wants to change to the next day so he can claim his friend's body so it can have a proper burial. they agree.
