OK, my thoughts:

I kept telling Locke to take off that darn bloody shirt. I think it kind of drove Shannon over the edge when Locke was trying to apologize to her.

Shannon was a witch to Boone and used him all of the time. I don't know why she would want to kill Locke over his death. I understand her being sad, but she never treated Boone well.

Every time there is a new episode I think it's the best one yet, but (yes, I'm going to say it) this was one of the best yet. Maybe it's because we've waited so long for a new episode but it was really well written and I am feeling the love for Sayid.

Sawyer: what can I say? I love him, the baby loves him, he's hot in funky glasses, nuff said.

Jack: He looked like crap. He must have partied the 3-4 nights prior to shooting the beginning scenes (yes, I know he was supposed to look like that)

Charlie was so cute following Sawyer around with the baby.

Regarding previews:
Walt warning Locke not to open the hatch. It didn't seem that Walt knew about the hatch (from Locke or the other survivors) so he must be having one of his "mind power" moments.

Could anyone tell what they were burning? It looked like a driver's license for a blonde woman

Michael looked ill. For those reading the spoiler thread I'll post my comments about that there.

Oh, something I forgot about: Locke confessing to Sayid that he hit him over the head. I thought that part was really interesting and maybe the point where Sayid started thinking Locke might be the key to getting them off the island.

I wonder if Sayid knows more than he's saying about Locke's "condition" after seeing the scar. I don't think he believed it was an old war wound.

Did anyone notice any of the numbers in this episode?

OK, my thoughts:

Every time there is a new episode I think it's the best one yet, but (yes, I'm going to say it) this was one of the best yet. Maybe it's because we've waited so long for a new episode but it was really well written and I am feeling the love for Sayid.

My take on that is that each week we get more and more back story on the characters. Maybe there is still more backstory on Shannon and Boone that we havent heard. Maybe something that makes Shannon care more for Boone then she outwardly lets on.

Good episode! I knew Locke was going to tell Sayid that he's the one that hit him on the head. The minute he started talking I knew that's what he was going to say.

I got chills when Sayid decided to delay his flight in order to claim his friend's body. Wow!

You know, I never really got the whole Sayid/Shannon relationship. However, tonight, I found myself rooting for them! I do hope Shannon comes around.

Guess my DH was right...Locke didn't get shot tonight! I was also yelling at Locke to change that bloody shirt! Yuck!!

Re the previews...Walt...wow! I just know the cliffhanger will be opening that hatch! And I wonder why Kate wants on that raft so bad...hmmmm....

hmmm...let me think...they show the raft done, or almost done, and talk about who will be on it. they show Michael looking very sick. they show sayid, jack, and locke (I think thats all) at the hatch, trying to figure it out, and they show walt going off on Locke about not opening it, yelling at him not to open it. not sure if I'm leaving anything out there.

I have to confess that when Sayid started talking at Boone's funeral I started to cry. The stuff he said was pretty nice.
And I am having a senior moment here, I could swear Kate said or did something that made me think "That must be why she wants on that raft" and now I can't remember what it was. Oay vay!!!!

this was ANOTHER great episode...it had humor, romance, intrigue. wow! what great acting from the guy who plays SAYID. the bloody shirt was a little distracting and i couldnt wait untill he took it off. i think there will be a tie to opening the hatch and with michael's illness somehow.WHERES THE MONSTER BEEN???
