I didn't pick up much watching this episode for the second time. The only thing that I saw that made me say, "hmmmm" was Locke telling Michael that Walt was "Special". This was when they were throwing the knife, long before we had any indication that Walt may have "powers" in the flashback.

Suzi

I agree. I also took note of how, when they were throwing the knives, Locke told Walt to picture it in his head first...when Walt did that, he threw the knife perfectly. Of course, I'm probably reading way too into this now! ;)

Last night's episode (repeat) got me thinking... does anyone know what WALT was doing right before LOCKE saw the creature (waaaayyyy back)? I'm working on a theory and I really need to know this.

Also, can someone post the numbers again, I LOST my paper with the numbers on it! :rotfl:

One more thing, does anyone know or remember why Sayid was on the plane?
Here are the numbers: 4,8,15,16,23,42

I don't think anyone knows *yet* why Sayid was on the plane.

Do you mean when Locke first saw the creature/island and said it was beautiful? Back when we thought for sure Locke was a goner?

Lostus Interruptus = the experience of having taped "Lost" thinking it was new, only to find out it was a repeat. DW and I taped "Lost", planning to watch it after Revelations. Thsi works best for us for all 8pm shows since that's when we are getting kids around for bed. We liked the premier of Revelations and were juicd about the Lost episode we were about to see. Talk about a let down.... That'll teach me to read my TV Guide more closely.

Yes, Bengalbelle, that's right. When Locke thought the creature was beautiful. I really want to know if we saw Walt shortly before that or anytime before in that episode. I have a theory that the creature is Walt's imagination...

What do you mean tape Lost to watch *gasp* another show?!?!?! That just can't be :earseek: :) !
Next week is the episode with Kate and Sawyer drinking around the fire. The next week is the documentary style catch up show. Then new episodes after that. You may watch other shows until then, but I better not hear any more about taping Lost to watch something else after that ;)

Walt was in that show. Right before Locke, Michael and Kate left to go look for the boar. Michael talked Sun into watching Walt for him. I have this episode on tape and I'll go look and see what Walt was doing. It will take me some time to find it, though.

:rotfl2: Allow me to clarify my muddy language... We cannot watch any show "live" that comes on at 8pm ET. We usually watch Lost at 9pm ET, but decided to watch Revelations at 9pm ET and Lost at 10pm. The good news in all this is that we did get to go to bed early last night. :love2: Two more repeat epis, huh? :guilty: :sad2:

/QUOTE]

That is a little odd. I believe we know why every main character was on that plane, right? We know about Sayid's past but we don't know why he was on that plane to begin with.

Can anyone tell me when the new shows are coming back on? :bitelip:
April 27th is new, but it's the documentary type episode that supposedly shows everything that's happened to the main characters in a liner fashion. May 4th is the next episode that's brand new.

Oh, I think I get it now. You can't watch live because of your profession, right? If I'm right this is the ONLY acceptable excuse ;) and I apologize :)

I didn't tape the episodes in order and I haven't been able to find that episode (Walkabout) yet. I did go to the Lost TV site that has the transcripts and Walt was on his way to see what Locke was up to when Michael stops him. Then they decide to go hunt boar (Locke, Michael and Kate) and Walt's upset that he can't go. Here's the transcript of that part:
[Shot of Walt of Michael]

Walt

But, why can't I come?

Michael

Because I said so.

[Shot of Sun walking with some plants.]

Michael (getting Sun's attention)

Hi, hi, excuse me. Um, I am going off, away, to hunt, and um, I was wondering if you could keep an eye on my boy, Walt. And, I'm Michael. Anyway, could you watch him for me, until I come back?

Sun

Oh. [Then says something in Korean.]

Michael

Sorry I don't understand, but you're cool with this, right? [giving her the okay sign with his hand]

Sun [nodding and giving the okay sign]

Walt

I don't need a babysitter.

Michael

Come on, Vincent needs you here. And, hey, cheer up. This will give me a chance to get to know your friend Mr. Locke a little better.

Sun

Says something in Korean to Walt

Walt

Yeah, whatever.

The next time Walt enters the picture is this (Michael has just been attacked by the boar and they fear Locke is dead:
[Pans to Walt and Sun on the beach. Sun is breaking a piece of a plant off.]

Walt

What is that?

[Sun showing Walt how to brush his teeth with it.]

Walt

Oh, I get it. It's like toothpaste.

Sun

Chia (? In Korean)

Walt

Chia?

[Shot of Kate helping Michael back. Hurley runs up.]

Walt

Dad?

Hurley

So, like, what happened out there?

Walt

Your leg's all messed up. Does it hurt?

Michael

It's okay, not as bad as it looks.

Sawyer

The mighty huntress returns. What's for dinner, hon. . .

Kate

Not now.

Walt

So, it was like a boar fight?

Michael

Not too much of a fight. It was more like me getting gored.

Walt

So, um, where's Mr. Locke?

I notice that everyone seems to have been on the plane because they were looking for someone.
Michael to get Walt.
Jack to get his father.
Sawyer to get the "real" Sawyer (who wasn't, after all)
Hurley (coming back from) to find the man about the numbers.
U.S. Marshall to get Kate.
Locke-- to meet his DESTINY (in his words)
Claire to get/meet the baby's adoptive parents.
Boone to get Shannon.

I haven't really figured out Kate, Sayid, or Sun & Jin. Though Kate, Sun, and Jin seemed to be getting away from someone rather than finding someone.

Any thoughts on this?

Just thought I'd post what Kristen on E! had to say about the controversy of the radio transmission:

From luckcanuck: There is much debate on what the voice on the radio in the small plane answered back to Boone. Was it, "There were no survivors of flight 815," or "We're the survivors of flight 815." Please help! Thanks.
I hear ya, babe. This was actually the most asked question of the week, and here's what Damon Lindelof told me: "Trust only the show, never anything but...All I can say is what you heard is what Boone heard. Let the debate rage on." Personally, I trust only Damon Lindelof, for he is the shiznit.

From skeenan923: It definitely sounded like "We're the survivors..." on the promo commercials.
Pay no attention to the commercials! Or that crazy promo guy behind the curtain! It is their job to deceive us--did you not watch Vaughn's "kiss" on last week's episode?

I hope they have a full season of shows for next season.these repeats are getting to me!!!!

Anyone excited about tonight? I know it's a recap, but it's still sorta new, right? :p I'm excited...hoping there's something of interest in the recap!
