Right before the plane fell to the ground Locke was yelling at Boone (while he was on the radio) and the plane was making a lot of noise. It was very hard to make out what was said on the other end of the transmission. I had taped it so I re-watched it a bunch of times and to me it sounded like the voice on the other end said "there were no survivors of flight 815." That's also what the closed captioning said. Other people thought they heard "no we're the survivors of flight 815".
There is a new promo for the season finale and all of the background noise has been cleaned up. In that promo, it definitely says "we're the survivors...". Now everyone is talking about it (hmmm...wonder if that was the intent) because many people believe the two transmissions are different.

I don't know, but I can tell you what's being said on the fuselage (JJ Abrams website). Apparantly JJ is saying ABC cleaned up the transmission for the promo and he has no control over that. Also, either he or another writer said *they* know what was said and they know where they're going with it. (I did read this but can't find the back up right now, will look for it and come back and post it)

Regarding the transmission, I pulled this off of the fuselage (the official site of the writers of Lost, sponsered by JJ Abrams)

Even though he posted this before those promo's began airing, why not just tell us what the transmission said? I think he want's some controversy surrounding it. The finale is going up against American Idol.

No, I would not. Anything I "leak" here is either an obvious joke (see below where I've spoiler fonted a couple of said jokes) or the total and complete truth.

I was just checking the abc site to make sure tonights show is a repeat, and saw it mentioned on their forum that to be sure to watch, as there may be clues (Michael and Walt episode) I have them all taped, but can't find anything easily, so I guess I'll watch.

Last night's episode (repeat) got me thinking... does anyone know what WALT was doing right before LOCKE saw the creature (waaaayyyy back)? I'm working on a theory and I really need to know this.

Also, can someone post the numbers again, I LOST my paper with the numbers on it!

One more thing, does anyone know or remember why Sayid was on the plane?

I didn't pick up much watching this episode for the second time. The only thing that I saw that made me say, "hmmmm" was Locke telling Michael that Walt was "Special". This was when they were throwing the knife, long before we had any indication that Walt may have "powers" in the flashback.

Much as I dislike the repeats (because I want to know what is going to happen NEXT), I am enjoying them because they are helping me to get my DH caught up. I am so happy that he is enjoying the series as much as I am!
