1st official Control Freak episode of our September trip has already occurred. Just e-mailed Dreams Unlimited to request a change from CBR to CSR. They had me at queen size beds. At 6'2" for each of us, we need that extra room.

Any thoughts? Advice?

I think it was a good choice. You were in a moderate so changing shouldn't cause too many issues. Plus you need a good nights sleep to do the parks right.

my mom was an RN on the ICU floor. She had read circles on the calendar when it was a full moon so she wasn't surprised when she got to work.

Kara, my professional life was spent in discharge planning for mental health patients. I've seen things get 'loony' around the full moon too many times.

I would say
1. request a refurb room. Not all are done. I think they just started working on the Rancho area - our room was just completed a couple days before we got there.

2. Ask for close to El Centro.

3. Keep in mind buses board in the order of 2, 3, 4, 1 unless it is a downtown Disney bus - which is stop 1, 2, 3, 4.

4. It really is 1/2 a mile walk from the Ranchos to the front. People aren't kidding.

But I think you will enjoy it - it is very pretty there.

And if you need to know about any dining at the resort, I'm your gal!

Hi Guys...good news and bad news for me. Bad news...I have my visit from AF and she is kicking my ***! More bad news....this means I will have her visiting for vacation...the good news? Well, at least when I have a super bad month the next month isn't as bad.

Thanks Cammie - I think 8 is bad enough...... she KNOWS everything already... and won't believe it if I tell her she's wrong - so I get her to check on the web..... everything is true on there right I reckon the medics spin this whole "it'll be ok soon , it's just the terrible twos" line just so we don't give up and hibernate for 18 years!!
Feeling a bit down again - ANOTHER friend is getting divorced (3 kids - all boys ... ouch...) ..... and a mum I speak to in the playground has just separated too 2 girls, 10 years apart, different dads....... Me and Hubby, his parents, and hubby's boss and wife are the only happy marrieds we know!! Except for a few of you ladies... I hope....
Going out on Friday for my 45th birthday - got the day off work - hubby too, going shopping then lunch, then out for a movie - Star Trek I think. My BF is sitting the kids so am hoping for a good day, get rid of the blues.... probably just feeling O-L-D...

Well sounds like my day today too. I was suppose to work but wasn't feeling well and they didn't have a partner for me so I decided to go home. The house is so trashed I don't even know where to begin and I don't feel like I should have to do it all by myself.

Luca is going to be 2 tomorrow He was born 7:19pm 5/14 I can't believe it.

Mike is sitting here watching lost and I am planning our trip.

Hi everyone! I've been so busy the past couple of days. I had an out of town guest last night - Arbonne friend - we had a great time! She's also an image consultant, so we put on a networking event and she did an Image Workshop. Fun! Then we went out to a late dinner with a group of friends and clients - fun group! We came home and sat in my bed and drank a glass of wine and talked until midnight. I slept out in the play room, so the kids woke me up at 6am. I'm really tired today.

Oh, I've been taking the leg vein formula again, and now my leg is fine. I really think it has to do with the varicose vein on my knee, and this formula helps. I'll keep an eye on it, though.

Lydia! Your light was still on when I got here to catch up, but you're gone now - good night. Have a great trip if I don't "see" you again!

Kara - Congratulations to Jeff! I hope you get to stay in Jax.

First of all, good call switching to CSR - Jillian was just at CBR and did NOT have a good experience. I've stayed at CSR three times, the last time in a refurb room - soooo nice!

As for the full moon, it's true!!! I'm in customer service and it's the same thing. I know that this week is a full moon. I'm getting my butt chewed daily by crazy people!

Guys, I just don't know what to think about this stupid move. I told Jeff that before I have a realtor out here I want to know if this VP thing will really happen. If so, I'm staying here. I told Jeff maybe we should just sell our house here and go rent in SC for a year or two, then come back to Jville and buy a house later. I kinda wish we'd have done that when we moved here. We rushed to buy a house and if we'd rented for 6 months or so we could have found one of many Florida foreclosures and then gotten a great deal so we wouldn't be one of the bazillion here who are underwater on our mortgage! But that is one of the reasons we DO want to move. Jeff's company is willing to buy our house for what we paid, thereby taking the hit on it, whereas we figured it would probably take us about 10 years for thishouse to be worth what we paid for it. So this is kind of a "bailout" of sorts for us! We laugh and say we are financial geniuses. We buy a house, the market crashes and our house plummets in value. Nice.

We stayed at CBR for our honeymoon and I didn't love it like I loved Dixie Landings. It was small! Granted this was 7 years ago so maybe they've refurbed sinced then...

Our ADR's are Teppan Edo, LeCellier, and Crystal Palace. We didn't to over-schedule ourselves, seeing as how 4 of our kids are 5 and under!

Control-freak moment: I KNOW my kids will need naps. BIL and SIL seem to think napping in strollers is enough. (Maybe for their kids!) I know DH will just pooh-pooh going back to the resort for them to rest. I'm going to have to battle this one otherwise we won't last in the parks past 6:30 pm.

Lydia - try to stick it out the first day, then maybe every other day go back for the nap. The first time we went, Ally had just turned five. No stroller. Only one day back to the room for a nap. The other 6 days were park open to close. She is the bionic child apparently. Still don't know how we did that, and she did not complain once. Bionic. Or zombie. Not sure which.

But just do what's right for your kids. Don't worry about what BIL/SIL do, their kids are totally different. And if DH gets cranky about it, maybe he needs a mid day nap too!

Ok busy, busy, busy today. I REALLY want to get my nails done. They are trashed and I always feel prettier when my nails look nice. Went on a mini shopping spree yesterday but wasn't happy about having to. Took out some shorts to pack and they were too tight! I'm completely disgusted with myself and seriously have to buckle down after this weekend. I do not like the road I'm on. Anyway, the spare bedroom has clothes all over the place. Need to run out and pick up some minor things and POP-ROCKS for the martinis at Fulton's - just in case they're out. The girls go with their dad at 5 tonite, so I'll be back on then to catch up and chat.
