I'm making ressies for a weekend in Brainerd. I know its not WDW but darn close as the kids are concern. LOL waterslides, mini golf, boats and waterskiing. what more could a 7 yr old ask for.

Hi everyone else! My leg has been hurting me so bad I can't sleep - don't know why - I can't even type right now - have t0 get up - I'llo check i9n tomorrow!

Welp, back from the dr. Both kids probably have the same virus, just affecting them in different ways. Good news is no strep, not thinking it is flu, Mia's throat is really red, so she could be puking because it hurts - who knows. But Nicolas = day 8 now, and Mia = day 7, so this has to end soon.

My BF made me sware we'd go out to dinner tonight. It is our 9th today. I told her if I took the kids to the dr now way, etc. She wouldn't hear of it. So she said if she got sick, she'd get well. I love her so much. She is amazing. So she is coming to watch the kids tonight and we are going out for our anniversary for the first time since Nicolas was born.

I feel guilty, but I'm still excited for a 2 hour dinner. She said we are banned from coming home before the two hour mark.

If we get in Nov around 11ish to BC, we will probably head to EPCOT, then the next day do DHS.

Currently I got 2 tix - base. Should I upgrade to hoppers, or 3 day base?

And if we do the base, is there anywhere around the BC area to do dinner one night that is good? Seems like I've heard you guys talk about somewhere good around there... I just cant find it.

Kara - your life is just so emotionally draining! I hope it settles down soon - so if I have it right, it was settled on FL, then now it is up in the air again?

Well, you won't be shocked when I tell you what I think....buy a non expiration pass for as many days as you can afford. That way if you use it you use it and if you don't you have it in your back pocket. You could even do this later so there is time to save for it. Look at the prices.....sometimes it is VERY worth it to add on. Plus when prices go up you have tix!

Lorrie - Flying Fish on the BW OR California Grill at the Contemporary would be my out of park votes for a nice romantic dinner. Also Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. Cammie says Yachtsman is good at YC but I have never eaten there.

There is also the Brewery on the BW and Cat Cora is opening a place where Spoodles is now. Don't know when that opens. Oh, and check the places in the Swan and Dolphin, I think they get good reviews too. All walking distance from BC.

Glad you get to celebrate your anniversary tonight!!! Enjoy!

I'm thinking I might do Cal Grill - just because I've never seen Wishes and I'll book a wishes time maybe.

Guess what - this trip, I'm not asking him a d*** thing! I have questions, you guys get them. Seriously, after this past trip, no more questions to him. I will just tell him when to show up.

So Cali Grill and Le Cellier. I think I like that.

And School Bread. If I don't get it this trip, there will be something to pay! And Grey Goose Slushy.

Nicolas is acting spunky, just coughing a lot. Begging for school tomorrow. Of course it is their last day prior to graduation, and he is hacking like no tomorrow. It is water day and I'm not sure that playing in the sprinkler all day is what he really needs right now. Oh he is going to hate me!

Mia just went down for a nap, Nicolas is resting so I thought I would work on my TR a bit. Then shower for date night.

Tammie- Feel better and please see you doctor. Leg Pain can be caused by a DVT Deep Vein Thrombosis. It is a clot that can travel. Don't take chances if you don't have problems taking Aspirin I suggest you take one and call your doctor.

Lorrie- I LOVE California Grill so YUMMY and romantic and we got a table by the window just in time for Wishes. Call me and I will give you all the advice I was given it seemed to work

Debbie- you will be in Disney in no time!!!

Mom of the year moment...katie was screaming so much I threw her in the car and went for a drive. She fell asleep but woke up screaming again. How long do the terrible twos last......!!!!

Btw did someone try to call me cell? I got a funky message but I couldn't make out the number because katie was screaming. It could have been from the eekend.

HI my friends! You are all so sweet. I feel much better tonight, but you're right, Jillian - I really need to see what's up. It started at WDW, and it only hurts when I'm resting. Feels fine when I'm walking. I started taking our herbal leg vein formula, and it went away. It strengthens the walls of the arteries - which I do have a few varicose veins showing up - not real bad, but you can tell they're there. Anyway, I've been thinking it's reflux, but I'll call. I don't even have a doctor since I worked for one who has retired, but Jim does. I just cringe at the thought of tests and copays - I already have a ton of dental work scheduled.

Lorrie - I'm so excited you get to plan another trip! Jim didn't like Flying Fish much, but I loved it! It seemed a little pretentious, but for 2TS credits, I guess they need to be I think I would maybe take the boat over to Narcossee's (I've heard great things) or to WL for Artist's Point. Definately don't ask Carlos!!

Today she is home sick - first sick day EVER for her!!!! Not counting surgery and the day she was sent home with lice. Honestly, this is the first time she has been sick since having her tonsils out 4 years ago!!!

AND nothing in the house to eat. I meant to get to the story last night and she wasn't feeling well after gymnastics, so I didn't do it. Now we're stuck in the house...... no bread, no cereal, might be spaghettios for lunch.

Um, sorry, I win this one. While putting on Mia's crocs Mothers day, I let the van door automatically close on her thumb squishing the crap out of it, and then bumped the door Nicolas was holding open on me so much that it swung back and broke his toenail off in the quick. So I'm totally winning. I know I didn't mean to - but to do that on Mother's Day of all days!

Don't feel bad - we all have those "I can't take it anymore moments". Sometimes a drive is all that holds it together.

I already have a ton of dental work scheduled.

Okay, our update here - kids seem better. Nicolas' cough is awful. He puked last night, but it was from the coughing, not from being sick. That happens a lot to him. So he can't go to school today - which is fine by me. We only have graduation on Monday now

I had to move my dr appt till monday, but my BP is still high, so I called the dr to let them know in case they want to increase my dose to a whole pill in the meantime.

My BF watched the kids last night. Remember the place I said would make Le Cellier seem yucky. Well we pull up to a sign on the door - they closed due to the economy.

Thanks Cammie - I think 8 is bad enough...... she KNOWS everything already... and won't believe it if I tell her she's wrong - so I get her to check on the web..... everything is true on there right I reckon the medics spin this whole "it'll be ok soon , it's just the terrible twos" line just so we don't give up and hibernate for 18 years!!

Feeling a bit down again - ANOTHER friend is getting divorced (3 kids - all boys ... ouch...) ..... and a mum I speak to in the playground has just separated too 2 girls, 10 years apart, different dads....... Me and Hubby, his parents, and hubby's boss and wife are the only happy marrieds we know!! Except for a few of you ladies... I hope....

Going out on Friday for my 45th birthday - got the day off work - hubby too, going shopping then lunch, then out for a movie - Star Trek I think. My BF is sitting the kids so am hoping for a good day, get rid of the blues.... probably just feeling O-L-D...

Oh I miss 2....it was easy-peasy. Ben is 3 1/2 and it seems like there is something every single day that turns into a struggle. He's been extra obstinate the past week and I'm hoping it just had to do with his being sick. Chris took him to the pedi yesterday and turns out he has pleurosis (?) which has been going around. Interesting sidebar: the pedi swabbed him for Influenza - a first. Anyway.... A new round of anti-biotics and home all week. And every time he misses pre-school for illness, it seems like it's back to square one with getting him to join in class activities.

DD Emmie is 22 months and has yet to utter a word. While Chris had Ben at the pedi yesterday, I was with Emmie at a speech pathology eval. Turns out she is almost 1 year behind on speech sounds but is ahead of her peers on word recognition and understanding concepts. Just trying to remember Albert Einstein didn't speak until he was 4. Or something like that! So it's off to speech therapy for Miss Em...IF it's deemed 'medically necessary' by our insurance company. Gr...

I am looking for some new trip report action, ladies! You know who you are!

Sounds like everyone is having the same struggles right now!!! I'm thinking of sending Ally off with the gypsys until she's 18.....

Seriously, sick or not, I lost it this morning. Went upstairs and it's so trashed!!!! So I threw a big ole hissy fit! Made her march her heiny upstairs and clean it up. Then I went up and helped her a bit. We still needed to transfer stuff from her old closet into her new room, and clear out the closet in there.... it's only been 2 months since we moved her room..... So we got that done, and now maybe it will feel more like HER room.

But I go in there and the damn steam cleaner is there. The steam cleaner that Jeff used to clean her floors during Spring Break!!!! Then while dragging the big thing downstiars, I lost control and it fell, busting apart. Hey, maybe if he had put it away when he was done with it, I wouldn't have had to move it. I was soooooooo mad!!! Believe me, he'll get a piece of my mind when he gets home AND he will be going out to get a new steam cleaner.

Then I just sat on the couch and cried. Ya know, one of those days when the house is trashed, I look around and there is just so much to do and I can't do it all. I need some serious help OR some serious medication!!!! I'm sooooo looking forward to escaping reality this weekend!

HOnestly, I feel like I could snap right now. Jeff takes the last of the coffee (yesterday's heated up) and walks out the door, doesn't make a new pot, nothing. Then I go in the kitchen, dishes stacked up in the sink, dishwasher clean but not emptied. Jeff gets in late on Tues so he eats when he gets in, and usually Ally and I are already in bed.

Oh, and a Doritos bag on the couch..... just stupid little crap that adds up on a daily basis.

I've got the number for a cleaning lady - I just haven't called her yet cause I want the house clean when she comes to look at it. Actually, I've got three numbers. I'm gonna get quotes next week I think. I told Jeff I was gonna do it and it's time. Either that or quit my job and become full time homemaker.....

Tessa - not sure if I'm one of those happily marrieds today!!!!
