Ahh! You got me. I have some throwing away issues myself. Every time I throw something away I seem to need it! I hate to be disorganized, but I need my stuff. DH doesn't mind though. As long as he has clean underwear and hot meals he's happy.

A couple years ago we were going to move. So, we put our house on the market. The realator said to pack everything I could live witout for 3 months. I did, and the house was so bare. He came back and said "good start." So, I packed up nearly everything else. Well, our house didn't sell and then the economy started to tank and we decided we had no other choice but to stay. My mom (who I have issues with anyway, a whole different story) said how the house looked so nice (she hates stuff, clutter, nicknacks) and I HATED it!!! I love all my things, my photo frames from Disney, my snowglobes, all my stuff. So I unpaced it all. She hated it, but I don't care, it's my house and I love it!!!

I try to keep the house clean, but our basement is another story. I have everything in a nice state of organized chaios!

Oh, Happy Day! After today, no more political ads! I don't care who you are voting for, I think we're all ready for those to be over!!!

Have a good day, my kids are off today (since the schools are used for voting). So we are going to go have some fun. DH voted on his way into work, he said there was nobody there (surprising). Then he went and got his free coffee at Starbucks, no line there either.

mickey mom of 3.. beth was being goofy. That's why her tummy was sticking out. It didn't show when we were out.

Debbie--Elizabeth is beautiful! She looks so grown up. matthew is a pretty good pirate too. Dr. Phil?!?!? I about died. Took me a min to re-read what Mark had done. At least it would be interesting.

Last night had more excitement. Katherine fell off of the bed and on to the night stand. There was a large indentation of the corner on her temple so off to the Urgent care we went. Turned out to be nothing but I loved the fact that the Dr told her NO MORE MONKEYS JUMPING ON THE BED. I laughed so hard. She is still repeating it. I as in the ktichen putting away groceries and Beth and Katherine were playing in my room, generally a big no-no but I let them do it so I could get the groceries put away. Then I hear the scream- we all know the one-- the blood curdling scream. No blood just that dent. Aghhh!!! I love being a mom. Well the one good thing is that we hit our deductable for the year and are at 100% coverage if anything else happens. ( I know it will)

Hey crew - I've been absent again. I've breifly skimmed the past two pages and saw all the cute pictues! YOu guys are just too creative and those kids are just too stinking sweet!

I'll see if I can't remember my photobucket account and post one of the kiddos.

I've been dealing with us contiplating a job move for DH, my stepdad lost his job (19 years with the company) yesterday. My mom will probably lose hers tomorrow. So there is just a lot going on here.

I'll catch up when I have time, just other things going on right now.

Okay, off to get some things done now.

I am enjoying my online classes, but so far, I'm doing okay in 2, but very behind on one. That has been taking up my computer time here lately. They end in Dec - and I"m ready!

I did my civic duty this morning - 1 1/2 hrs in line! I let Ally be late to school cause I wanted her to vote with me. She went 2 years ago when I voted in the SC gubernatorial election, and she had lots of questions. She has really gotten into the election process this year.

I agree - no more political ads!!!! Just be done with it already!

NOPE! Scary stuff, huh? My mom was planning on retiring in the next 3 years. All their nest egg was in her 401K. So that got all wiped out with the market.

My Step Dad losing his job blindsighted everyone. Not expected at all. They're in open enrollment so they gave him the option of continuing to work until that is over. You'll appreciate this. They told him that his job as "Benefits Supervisor" for the HQ of a fast food chain could be handled by a secretary. Good luck with that. I wish they didn't need the money. If he'd walk out during open enrollment I bet they'd change their mind on that one REALLY FAST!

I voted! Had heard about some places having up to a 2 hour wait, but, in my town, had no wait at all. Bought Lauren with me because she has the day off - voting is done in the middle school. Then we went to get pedicures so our piggies will look nice in Disney!

Renee - That totally stinks about your step-dad. Breaks my heart to hear of companies treating their faithful employees that way. Not right at all!

I'm off for the afternoon now. Have to ship my second box down to Disney - forgot I needed Amanda's bath seat while I'm down there. Then it's off to meet her right after school for her haircut. I'm looking to take 3 inches off her hair - will be so much easier to keep clean and manage.

Well, Ally is in trouble AGAIN! She was supposed to be cleaning her room and playroom AGAIN and AGAIN she did nothing! so I grounded her from the TV for a week, and I think I'm gonna keep her from gymnastics tonight, too. I'm gonna make her stay in and get it done. And if it doesn't stay clean for the next two weeks, no Rock n Rollercoaster when we go to Disney. I'm so sick of her just trashing everything with total disregard. She drops her dirty clothes on the floor and leaves them. Now she's dropping crap all over the guest room, too. So I'm cracking down.

Ok this is what i did with Chloe when she was being a horror at cleaning her room .. It had got well past the point and there were toys everywhere and i got really really cross that i got 2 big bin bags and put everything that wasn't in it's correct home in them and then threw them down the stairs (oops yes mum got a bit cross) when i calmed down i told her that to get them back she had to work at it and i left them in plain sight so she could see them every day and they reminded her, so at the end of 1 week i gave her back 1 bag .. a little cruel as there was a toy that got split into both bags and she couldn't play with it hahaha ... anyway i gave her the bag back and told her to put it all back in its right place or it's next stop would be in the proper bin outside and i did the same the following week with the other bag .. Now i'm not saying he rroom is now immaculate she's still human hahaha but i never ever go into her room anymore and see it the way i did that day!!!

Erin- Poor Chloe- It is really hard when they don't get any sleep it stresses them out and then you get stressed out too! We are going thru Luca not sleeping now too. It's tough. Also time change here really did him in. He is exhausted.

Erin - I hope Chloe starts feeling better. I agree with Tammie - is everything okay at school?

Erin - So sorry you're feeling down. That's really crappy what your friend did. But like others have already mentioned, let's give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe her body has been taken over by that awful "bridezilla" personality that seems to claim so many women once they get a ring on their finger - they become so self-absorbed! Anyway, I know you're disappointed and I think it would be worthwhile, at some point, to express your feelings to her. Hopefully, she'll recognize the importance of your friendship and make things right. Hope things are ok with Chloe - it's so hard to see your kids hurting!

Again thankyou all so much for all the hugs and kind words. I have spoken to my friend about the wedding and told her how upset i was etc etc and it was fine, i just don't think she get's it to be honest, we're very different i'm a lot more emotional than she is hahahaha oh well i have said my piece now!!!

Chloe is a funny little creature, she is so very happy at school, she struggled to settle in at the beginning of this year but now couldn't be happier, she just worries me, she's a very sensitive soul but also gobby like her mother so sometimes people don't see that at all, plus we had a chat about her dad a couple of weeks ago and i wonder if any of that is bothering her, she has no contact with him and hasn't done since she was 3, we had a huge emotional chat and got lots of things out in the open but his family are coming to visit soon and i wonder if is something to do with that, oh well i will plod on and am sure things will right themselves and she will either be ok or let me know what's going on!!!

I guess being in Florida, the lines were a lot longer to vote - swing state! Jeff called me about 2pm and said he was heading out to vote, so I'm curious how long he had to wait.

Happy Voting Day!!!!!!!!!!!!! No wait here in the big city. I was in and out in 10 minutes.
I am all about the "right to vote" and it's importance but I so hate the politics of all this! Like you guys have said I am sick of the ads. I am also sick of all the butt talking from all of them. It bothers me that it bothers me when people don't vote for who I'm voting for (that's why I try VERY hard not to tell people who I vote for). I just want everyone to vote for who I vote for or it gets under my skin. Crazy, this I know. Who cares right?
I am glad it's ending but I (as you guys know) don't do well with change so either way it all freaks me out!
