Hello! Did you have a Merry Christmas?


Jillian, I feel really blessed to know you, too! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you better in the New Year, and following your many adventures with you!

We had a very nice Christmas and lots of snow! The grandbabies got everything a little kid could wish for - pretty spoiled from all the relatives. I don't know how you could follow up - Disney princess vanity, doll house, baby bed, baby buggy, stroller, new kitchen with life-like stove and sink, medeival castle, aircraft carrier with jets, and an almost life sized ride-on pony for my kitchen

We had a great time with everyone and my pork tenderloin turned out delicious! Hope all of you had a blessed Christmas - I'll have to download a couple of pics later - looking forward to yours!

Jillian- be sure to get the facebook app. Its great. My ipod touch is almost the same thing as an iphone except that it isn;t a phone. it has all of the same apps and things and it connects to our wireless network.

Beth got all of the disney princesses. She is very excited. Target sold a kit of all of them. Very cute. the girls are sharing so nicely now. I just wish it would last. I will list more what they got later. Tim's on his way home to "talk".

New Rant....Tim is going to buy a snowmobile today. Yes after breaking his silly back he needs a sled he thinks. AGHHHHHH!!!!! I love him but I hate being the meany and telling him no. His new job will make it possible but I would like to wait until he at least has the first paycheck in hand. Okay rant over.

My House WAS very busy! Now we're babysitting Ryan's new puppy so they can go visit his ILs.

How is wrestling season going?


Hi everyone! I took one more day off today, and tomorrow I have to get to work, and also have my church work.

We slept in, relaxed all morning, then went shopping at Home Depot for a new microwave - Jim let me choose my own. We had the same one for almost 24 years - a Sharp. It is still working just not as well. I bought a LG, so we'll see - these new ones are really high tech!

We went around looking for a new tree on sale, but no good sales, really. I bought some wrapping paper and shelves for my armoire, and we went to our fav mexican place for lunch, then came home and napped.

I went back out this evening and bought some tops at 70% off! Gotta love those sales! I came home and played games with Myles so the kids could do their homework. I'm about ready for bed, but I don't want this relaxing day to end!

In 3 months, my vacation will be half over!

Hi all

Looks like everyone has had a great Christmas, we did too, had so many presents at my mum's it took forever to open then yesterday was Boxing Day (which i know you guys don't have) so we did big fat lot of nothing except making and eating soup yumyum! Now we are having another Christmas today as my cousin and her babes are coming over, so yes more pressies for my girl to open ... She loved her mobile phone soooo much she could not believe it so mission of surprise accomplished she also got an i pod nano from my mum which she absolutely loved bless her she is spoiled rotten

I had to drop by and say hello! THe kids needed to go to the walk in clinic Christmas Eve - Nicolas cold/sinuses and Mia a double ear infection again. So I've been busy with that & trying to get things back the way they were prior to Carlos' big vacation.

I'm already in a "new" years mood. I'm wanting to take down the ornaments & things (mostly because I'm tired of having to clean up the kids strowing that stuff) and I went to Weight Watchers today to get the new year's program. Sound like they improved it. I told the leader I couldn't afford meetings now, so we will see how it goes with me attempting it on my own.

I'm also anxious to get a better financial hold on what our family is facing. Me being off work has definately put us into debt - but then again, this was always known and it is short term. I'm sad that it may mean no vacation at least for 2009.

I'm really behind on reading. Page 44 is the last one that I bookmarked, so forgive me but I will try to catch up maybe this week.

Kara - I hope that Ally isn't too itchy. Those Aveeno bath's really helped me out, and I think there is also an oral med they gave me to help speed the recovery! At least there is a silver lining of no BSIL! I just hate it comes at Ally's expense, but better now than later on.

Okay, I'm trying to handle the laundry monster mountain and the upstairs junk corner. Wish me luck that it doesn't landslide on me!

Yeah...I was and am sick! Yesterday was the worst of it. Something sinus and throat....Bad fever yesterday.....Oh I hate being sick. And of course you would only hope people would treat you the way you treat them when they are sick but that's a joke! My house is trashed worse then ever!!!! They all really were irritating me yesterday.

Christmas and Christmas Eve were wonderful!!! Everything worked out great!!!!! My brother asked the kids to be in his wedding and they also asked me. The most heart warming part was my brother asked my Dad to be his best man. It was all very touching.

I am glad everyone here had a nice holiday and can't wait until we are all back here in 2009 less stressed!

It's a Samsung E250, whatever that means hahahaha .. i am a huge Samsung fan i have had quite a few of them, all different so thought i'd get her one as a little starter phone, it was a good deal £30 and has camera, bluetooth and everything she needs hahahaha she really was excited

Ok tomorrow is officially 5 weeks till her b'day so off i go out shopping again tomorrow to try and find if there's anything left in the world that she didn't get for Christmas
