Wanted to be in WDW in March but with airfare and my whole financial debauchery I don't see it happening. I am actually freaking out it might not happen at all in 09!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just checking resort rates and right now I can get a value for $49/night or a mod for $94/night through Feb. Hopefully it will continue into March! My MIL might join us in March. And I want to try CBR next time.

Way to really bring me down....we were looking at March 1st thru the 8th! Airfare hasn'r fallen below 400.00 a person yet! One day it was 789.00!!!!

So, I'm back. We headed to NJ the day after Christmas. Spent a few days at my sister's and saw the rest of my crazy family. We had a very nice time; came back late Mon. I was then convinced to have some friends over yesterday, which I originally was not in the mood for but am now glad I did. We had such a good time. I get stressed if I don't feel prepared, but these friends are so casual - we made it work.

The girls have now gone off with their dad and I have FIVE glorious days to myself!!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my girls but it has been a very hectic past two weeks and I'm looking forward to the break! I was invited over a friend's tonite for some snacks and hot-tubbing, but honestly, I'm not in the mood. It's snowing like crazy out right now, and while I know I won't drink and drive, I don't want to be out on the road with people that do. Right now, I'm in my velour sweatpants and Tink fleece sweatshirt and I'm mighty comfy. Don't think I'll be going anywhere.

Seriously, Lauren bought this when she was out shopping with the ex. He joked with her that it was SHE that really wanted the mug; she told him, "No, trust me, Dad - it's MOM who really would want this!" I've told Lauren she needs to keep my JB obsession hidden from her dad - don't want him thinking I'm a crazy, unfit mother!

Surgery went really fast. She seems to be doing well. We will go home in an hour or so. Everone have a great new year! Our plans are to veg out in front of the tv.

Laura, I'm glad Beth is doing well. I'm praying she makes a quick recovery.

Kara, I'm glad Ally is getting better? (I hope). You are very much in demand - you might as well just live at WDW so we can all see you when we get there!

Cammie, Thanks for sharing those beautiful pics! I loved the one of you and your girls! You all looked so pretty. I tried to join you when you were on earlier tonight, but Myles took over my computer and played Playhouse Disney until 12am!! I hope you had a great night! We stayed in as usual - watched National Treasure 2 and Nim's Island. We had a bunch of snacky foods for dinner. We don't usually go anywhere on New Year's Eve- someone always tries to kill us on the way home when we do.

Jillian, I have watched NYRE every year since 1978, except when we were in Okinawa for 3 yrs. Tonight, we turned it on a couple of times, but were irritated with Kelly P also. Then we turned it back on and some really slutty girls were dancing - we changed it since Myles was watching - watched the Travel Channel Disney Holiday presentations - at Midnight, they showed all the Disneylands in the world, and MK New Year's fireworks - much better! They have texts across the bottom from viewers - Mark says he sent me a message from Mickey, but I haven't seen it yet.

Debbie, hope you had a great New Year's. How are you feeling? The girls are becoming BFFs!!!! I love it - just hope it stays - they are scrapping together a couple of times a week, and text each other all day. Tomorrow I'm going to join them for scrapping in our den, and we're watching "chick flicks" all day while the boys watch football. Thanks for asking.

Jim has been sick with his sinuses for 3 weeks now - today he went to the doc and got antibiotics for a sinus infection. He has pretty much been sleeping anytime he has a little down time for weeks, so I hope he perks up soon.

Last night I ordered some Disney Mary Jane crocs in chocolate, and a pair of crocs sandals (on sale of course) and a Bagallini sling bag in brown for my trip in March - which I promised I wouldn't buy new clothes for. Then, if I ordered one more item, I got free shipping, so I ordered a cute T-shirt also. Okay, remind me this is a BUDGET trip, and i am not allowed to buy any more clothes!!!! As it is, you can't bring it with you anyway, so why buy it - I'm going to have to on my trip.

Who is next to leave - Cammie or Jillian????

Hi Tessa! It is 1 am here on the West Coast - I guess early!!! The neighbors were lighting off a fireworks show, and we were staying up, now I'm enjoying the peace and quiet and a chance to DIS!

I researched the "Cromwell" guy you mentioned - I think the coded song makes sense - they were even thrown in jail if someone smelled a goose cooking - Soldiers were walking the streets smelling for food cooking so they could arrest people!

Happy new year from. The frozen tndra. Tim is off snowmobiling today. Just a relaxing girls day, lots of silly movies and maybe some organizing. We misses NYRE. charlotte's web took precendence. I'm happy to hear the girls are getting along better. It's tough when family isn't friendly.
