hi Debbie! Glad I'm not the only one here today. The dogs just ate the garbage while I ran to get one one of Beth's friends for a play day. Ugh the road are yucky. At least it is warmer today.
Erin! Sounds like you are already celebrating. Is your country the area where the "12 days of Christmas" originated? If so, what does that mean - and how do you get the 5 golden rings?![]()
HahahhaaYes this is definitely an English Carol, and definitely a children's fave, to be honest i have never recieved 5 Gold rings so am not sure i'm singing it right

I wanted to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas Keep safe and warm and i'm hoping you all manage to avoid any issues and have an amazing Christmas xxxxxxxxxxxx![]()
Thanks Laura! I am still amazed at how close complete strangers can become!I'm sending everyone a cup of Christmas cheer as I can't send my real Irish cream in the mail. Trust me I contemplated how to do it. I figured sending something really perishable thru the mail is a bad idea. so here is a picture and we can use our imagination.

(you know I couldn't let the holiday break start without one more JB post!)
Thanks for all the offers to help dig me out girls - now I wish I could have taken you all up on it! Anyway, we survived - and now it's 50 degrees and alot is melting. Thank goodness because I never shoveled my front walkway and I hate not being able to use it!
Anyway, I do feel really blessed also to have gotten to know all of you this year! You guys are the best and I certainly hope 2009 brings good things for everybody!
