Looking For Control Freaks & Worry Warts too........

My memory these days! YIKES! I logged on to ask some questions and end up joining the Fusion banter! Ha.

1. Do you need a stroller cover if you take your own (April)? Ours is smaller and folds similar to an umbrella stroller.

2. Do you ever use cab service rather than ME to return after the fireworks? Would this be a good deal?

3. I do want to get a nice Christmas ornament as well as a cute Snow White outfit for DD. Any suggestions of where in the World to get these? I think I remember Debbie (?) talking about DTD Christmas shop selection being better. I hadn't planned on going there, but if I need to I will.

Thanks so much! I'm so excited to be just putting the planning on coast. All except that first day, but I have TWO plans, the MK & DHS (thanks to you) and I will just flip a quarter that day if I have to. :rotfl2:

Hi! Re: Fusion - go back and few posts - Debbie posted a pic of the bottle. It's a "fruity" liqueur - not too sweet; not too sour - JUST RIGHT!

I've never "cabbed" it before because we're always at the BW and leave Epcot thru IG after Illuminations. Think I may try the cab when I go in June - we might end one of our nights at the BW and would take a cab back to WL. Posted about the cost on another board and was told it would cost @10.

I'm not a good one to give bus advice - when I use them I really don't get stuck waiting because my daughter's in a wheelchair and we get loaded pretty quickly.

If you're interested in xmas ornaments - MK also has a Christmas shop -- and they do personalization there also. It's definitely not as big as DTD though. Also think your best chance of finding something cute for your DD would be at DTD. I think you can find alot of the same merchandise at DTD at many of the other shops around WDW. I like going to DTD because I feel like everything I need(?) (want?) is in one central location. And, IMO, your DS would have a blast in the World of Disney store and the Lego store - they're both pretty cool.

Oh yes DTD Christmas Shop is really great in fact i looove DTD and you will definitely find a Snow White outfit for your DD in the World of Disney shop

yeah, the scrapbooker in me is trying to justify a run to DTD at some point. I keep telling myself I can work on it when I go to CKU!

Hummm... maybe I will go to DTD. :thumbsup2

Try and get an early DTD trip in but if not.....
You will have NO trouble finding a Snow White outfit. There are princess dresses everywhere and like Cammie said MK has a great Christmas shop too but if you don't get there when it opens it is a zoo! I actually think it opens at 10am too no matter what time the park opens. Plus. If you are NOT shipping you need to get the personalization done earlier on in your trip since it usually takes a day or two…..

Side note….I had the equivalent of probably two frozen drinks (no extra vodka - just X-Rated Fusion & ice) and I felt like yuck this morning. I tell ya I have NO tolerance for alcohol!

Hi Girls on the other side of the world (well. not quite that far)

Another good reason to visit DTD - Goofy's Candy Co.:cloud9:

It's a completely miserable day here today - downpours all day! I'm in my comfy sweats and catching up on some shows on my Tivo. Mmmm - it's after six - maybe time for a FusionX drink?

I guess I will have to take my conditioning a little more serious!
Yes! We are freezing! My DH is basking in the sun in sunny Arizona watching the Cubs! Must be nice. He says they keep announcing the Chicago temps at the game...whatever!!!

I think I am goin to go put some comfy's on....

Yeah....maybe I will try again the XRated Fusion tonight. We will see. I want to put something else in it like orange juice or pineapple juice or something but I can't put my finger on what I am craving with it.

:scratchin Hmmm - no, that's a good question. Never thought about bringing back that cup. Now it's a strongly debated issue on these boards that the refillable resort mugs are only good for the length of stay they were purchased in; bringing them back year after year is considered by many to be dishonest (although I'll admit I have done it and the CMs have never questioned me! Don't do it anymore though) I don't know how Goofy's Candy Co. would know when you purchased your cup, so I'm thinking you could do it. I know I can't get away with it - my DD is on a quest to collect all of them! So far, we have Minnie and Goofy!

Other disers would probably say no but not this one! If it's the exact same glass I say pack it and bring it on in (if I am understanding you correctly). I am sorry to say I am NOT familiar with Goofy's candy company:confused: !

How about cranberry juice? I also think some sprite would be good too!

OK - maybe I'll play tonite and try some of these combos. What the heck - I have no kids to worry about tonite!

We had SNOW which is a treat for us. Almost 6 inches in places. We built a snow man the size of DS - and he is a BIG boy. He is the size of a 5 yr old - slim, but big! Talk about teeth chattering - 'cause you know who was building the snowman while someone was taking a stick and knocking the snow out of the bushes don't you. Of course DH volunteered to stay in and watch the 1 yr old.

Thanks for the tips on DTD, and the Christmas Zoo :lmao: inside MK. I will keep that in mind. One question - this shipping thing you mentioned, do you have to pay your local tax if you ship? I don't remember if it was Cammie or Debbie but someone said (I think) that you get out of FL tax. Might really be worth it to me to ship it back. hmmmm....

Debbie - sorry to hear you have the yuckies. I'm a lightweight too with anything it seems. Kids....

Kara - I am doing WW. We just got back from dinner. Completely blown it here this week. Doing well overall, just "slurging" too much! I think it is drooling over all those DW menus I have been seeing lately. HA! :rotfl:

Alrighty girls, have a good one. And thanks again for all the help !

You know, aren't they maybe like everyone else and change the color, etc up every so often? just guessing.
