And, I hear ya about the mid-section! At first, I was kind of proud of my little "pooch" belly - I grew two beautiful girls in there! But, now that I'm forty, I'm not liking it so much - it's the first place I gain weight and the last place I lose it!

I am losing some weight for the trip too -and for ME of course.... am now at 201 pounds - do you think I can lose that sticky little one whole pound - it is clinging on there!!!! So I might give you a challenge on those hips Cammie, (whisper it 44inches) Bet you are half that Debbie!! By the way - we have a saying in parts of the UK - big feet - big "up top" !:goodvibes
Anyhow, I also will be shopping for Xmas decorations over there - last time we went we bought a few at MGM park - is there still a Christmas shop there? It was quite small, but absolutely gorgeous!
Must remember not to do the big snow globe this time -I guess they have more than 100mls of liquid in? and I wouldn't fancy packing it for checked baggage..... :scared:
Cheers,
Tessa

I have been on a diet since I was probably 12! If I don't watch what I eat I gain weight..plain and simple. The really weird thing is that my weight is down now. I weigh less then on my wedding day! Not quite sure what I am doing right either. I think it's more the things I am doing wrong that are keeping my weight down.....stressing and caffiene!

RE:Snowglobes...they won't let you pack them! It's not even an option. It must be shipped back and there are signs by all the snowglobes warning people of this.

I do not recall the Christmas shop in DHS. I wonder if I have missed it:confused:

Kara...I got my DD that same dress with Cinderella & it's blue. She is going to wear it for Easter. There was actually a white shirt to match for DS.
I NEVER get emails for Disneyshopping.com. I always have to figure out the deals on my own. God knows I am signed up fror everything Disney so you would think I would.

Cammie...I saw your pic and your size looks good! You are nuts! I say that to you but then everytime I get down to a weight I had in mind I always want to lose more. It's hard to be a woman! We're never happy!

Oh and Tessa...my Dad used to tell me I had big feet so I wouldn't tip over! I know, completely inappropriate but he thinks he's a funny guy!

The Christmas shop is near Pizza Planet (I think!) and it's nice because there is never anyone there!

I love the dress - I wish DD would learn to love Cinderella (she dresses as Cindy when she was 3 for Halloween) because she has the most beautiful blue eyes and I love to dress her in blue. When she was a baby I kept her in blue (dresses of course so everyone would know she was a girl!).

And I agree that Cammie looks great in her pic! BTW, I changed my avatar - whatcha think? I wanted to use the pic of Ally looking ove the bridge at POR, in her Belle gown, but I can't size it down enough? Any suggestions?

DDs favorite color is blue so that's how I get her in all the Cinderella stuff. I love pink but prefer Cinderella over Sleeping Beauty so I jusy buy whatever I like...
When I go to photobucket I just resize it to that thumbnail size. Did you do that? Upload the pic again though becasue once you resize it you can't make it big there again.

I better go!

You only have to preorder the CD if you want the discount. I think it saves you like 30 bucks ($). If you don't preorder you pay full price for the CD.

Your DD is so cute and I also do not enjoy house work. I do it but it never looks like it!

Erin - love the pic! Your DD is so cute!!!! I saw a couple of those dresses at PPP when I was there last week, but not many, so she will definitely stand out!

We got an email with the photopass prebuy offer about a week before we left, so you'll probably get it, too. We just bought 2 5x7's this trip, since all we did was P&PP one night, but I know we'll prepurchase before our week in May!

DSIL has been so nice today via email, and now all of a sudden she is whining about how her poor DS is going to be so tired, and how will he survive without a nap each day, wah, wah, wah!!!! He's only a few months younger than Ally was when we went 2 years ago. Why can't people just plan on enjoying themselves??? I basically told her that if he can't keep up, that they can go back to the resort and rest and we'll meet up with them at dinner! I REFUSE to fall into her trap!!!! DH, DD, and I will be at EVERY rope drop and we'll see every fireworks display! And we won't complain either!!!! I get so sick of hearing about her "poor child." It makes me want to scream!!!! Whiny little kid! But then the apple doesn't fall from the tree!!!! :rotfl2:

Poor Ally went to the DR on Friday because her ear was bleeding. DH didn't tell me until SAturday that her eardrum had ruptured!!! And she hardly complained at all! That's my little trooper!:lovestruc

I'm so proud of myself, I've stayed of the Disboards most of the day!

Aw, thanks sistahs!:goodvibes I'm still going to hold on to my Spanx, though!;) (never know when you're gonna need them!) What's crazy is I never get on a scale. I berate myself for the SIZE I'm wearing!:scared:

Kara - I tried changing my avatar when I got back from our trip in Dec. - wanted to put in an updated pix of the girls & I and I can't remember how I did it the last time. I got frustrated and gave up! How did you do it?

Erin - Your daughter looks adorable in her Alice dress! Now, what are YOU wearing to the P&PP?

Ah thanks that's so kind of you .. i was so pleased with the dress and Chloe says it's a real "Alice" dress ahh she still loves all the dressing up and princesses i am so lucky

Erin - Your daughter looks adorable in her Alice dress! Now, what are YOU wearing to the P&PP?

Thankyou so much really kind of you to say, i loved the dress .. Ooh now you're asking am trying to find a t-shirt to wear but haven't really found any good ones and my mum keeps saying wait till we get to the states  but i am far too much of a planner to do that

OK, for some reason I can't get this new avatar to work. It keeps saying "remote file too large." I'm trying to download from my photobucket account. Arrrggghhh!

DH is eating out tonight with his boss - I soooo want to go out to eat, but I need to behave!!!! I still want to drop 10 lbs in 8 weeks!!!!!! I guess I should hit the gym tonight but why would I go and do something crazy like that when DH is gone and that leaves me free to shop???? Hmmmm??????

Wow... busy busy here today! I've just breifly skimmed the emails. Hope that offends no one. I'm getting ready for company (ie - actually trying to clean! ha)

Thanks to everyone for the photopass info - a great help!

Size 9 shoes for me, and like Kara, I wore a 8 1/2 before DS.

Oh, before I forget. My "treasure" I hope to return with is a charm bracelet. Hopefully Stainless Steel. Something not too bulky. Where is the best place to find that sort of thing? What about Tink's Treasure Box? The name sounded fitting for that sort of thing.

The photos look great too! Thanks for sharing.

Okay will catch up more when I can. Off to scrub toliets. Aren't I the envy of the board now! :lmao:

Hey - where did everybody go?:confused3

Renee - You'll find that most stores at WDW have a jewelry section but the biggest selection is at the World of Disney store in DTD. You'll find everything there, in all price ranges. It's where I've gotten my daughters their birthstone 14k gold mickey earrrings; and there are quite a few watches I've had my eyes on for years now.

I agree with Cammie that WOD is your best bet - just face it, honey, you're gonna end up there whether you want to or not! :rotfl2: For Disney shopping, it's the place to be! Although I found a couple of charms for DD for $2.99 each at the gift shop in our resort this last trip. I have a sterling silver charm bracelent that I got when I was 14, and I still wear it! Of course I have adultified (is that even a word?) the charms! And when we moved in November, DD's "best friend" gave her a charm bracelet with a SC charm and a "best friends" charm. So now she has a Minnie head and then I got her a rinestone "A" and a mickey ears charm for her bday.

Cammie, my sister used to collect Mickey watches. She probably had 6 or 7 before she stopped - wonder what she did with those???? A couple of them were really nice, and the others she would find for $20-30 or so.

Now that I got DH down to Disney for P&PP, he's totally onboard with everything Disney again!!! Aha! I have him right where I want him now!!!!! In fact, he wants to designate one bedroom upstairs as our Disney room! We have 3 bedrooms and a large open loft area upstairs - 1 bedroom is the guest room, 1 bedroom is DD's room, the loft area is her play area, with a TV, bookshelves, computer, etc. Then the last bedroom has a sleeper sectional in there, and we're thinking of moving the TV into there, too. Then decorate with all our Disney memorabilia. So yesterday I was at Joann's and they had all their frames 40% off. So I bought 6 8x10 frames, 6 5x7 frames, plus different color matting. And I'm printing off a bunch of personalized things that the designers did for me on the Creative DISigns thread. Including the mickey pirate heads, etc. I think that will be a great start to the room!

First I have lots of cleaning to do up there though. It's been our catchall room since we moved, so there's a lot of "junk" just piled in there. I think I'll start that today, I really want to get that room done before everyone is here in May for the trip!

Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone!!!!

I agree with Cammie that WOD is your best bet - just face it, honey, you're gonna end up there whether you want to or not! :rotfl2: !!!

I'm beginning to see that you and Cammie are right. I just might as well suck it up, and budget it in because really want to or not, I need to go. A trip to Goofy's Candy Co couldn't hurt anyone... could it now? :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: I'm sure I would have to drag DS into that toy store there kicking and screaming :lmao:

Oh, I wish I could have that TV show Clean House come here. I sware, I buy so much stuff that looks like such a great idea in the store and it all piles up around the house - especially with the help of DS. He just strows toys everywhere. I have so many boxes of toys in the garage and in the attic and in the closet. I HAVE to have a yard sale and downsize. They are taking over my house. It is crazy. I'm out of control on buying them toys I think because I never had that problem growing up. You know, I only had a few dolls, a few barbies and maybe a few misc. things. I don't remember feeling deprived at all!

Day 2 of 3 of the cleaning. ERRR. What stinks is getting it picked up and DS pulling it out again. What is up with that? :confused3 My solution. Bought him a fire truck :lmao: to bribe him into keeping things clean or I will take it back. Feeding the monster at this point. :lmao:

Have a good one everyone!

PS - my ME package came yesterday. All my plans are all A-Ok now!:thumbsup2

You're right - Goofy's is just one of those things... like it or not!!!! :rotfl:

And I know what you mean about when we grew up versus what our kids get for toys. DD's room is FULL! I know that I do spoil her, and that is definitely going to change. She's getting quite a little attitude. And we have that whole loft full of stuff, too! And she has about 9 buildings of the Fisher Price little people stuff that she doesn't play with at all anymore. DH says I should sell it on ebay but I've never sold there before. I may give it a go because this stuff is definitely going OUT of the house!

Just had a nice little present waiting for me by the back door - stupid dogs!!!! I don't know which one it is at this point! I think I need to take the puppy to the vet because he's got the "bug" now - he'll be better for a day or two and then it comes back. I'm losing my ever lovin mind!!!!!!!!!!

OK, new problem - DH was taking DD to bed last night. The pup started "having relations" :rotfl2: with his pillow. DD looked at DH and said "Bucky thinks that's his girlfriend." :scared1: Where did she get that???? How would she have any clue? She will be 7 at the end of the month - what should I say to her? I think she's way too young for "the talk." But I have to talk to her about something, don't I? This makes me so sad - I want her to retain that innocence for as long as possible - I don't want her to know about all that grown up stuff. And I certainly don't want her learning about it from anyone but me! What would you do? Or have you already dealt with this?
