That is so cute! You are raising him well. I don't know about your son but my DD picks out what she wants to watch and she picks Disney movies all the time, since before she turned 2. Now she is watching the Hayley Mills collection. She saw the picture on the DVD I had and said she wanted to watch it.

DS is totally into Indiana Jones - he absolutely LOVES both the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular show at WDW, and Indiana Jones Adventure ride at DL. He has the movies memorized, and he's psyched that there's new movie coming out in 2008. My cell phone ring tone for him is the Indiana Jones theme....

Are you kidding? I've started looking into a short trip to Indian Rocks Beach just outside of Tampa on the intercoastal. There's a Holiday Inn resort there (very nice) within a VERY short walk from the beach. There is also a place to eat called Crabby Bill's that has fantastic seafood. Want to race to see who gets there first? Ready... set.... go!!!!!!

Oh my Midwest friends - I am so sorry to tell you there is another storm coming. We had two days in the 70s then cold and rainy the past few, now today it was snowing, and they show a huge storm coming from the West - it usually blows your way after it has been here.

Maybe it will be warm after that! Hope everyone is doing well, other than the cold! My DH came home tonight with bad chills and feeling a little We have already had two rounds of the stuff! I told him I don't have time to be sick right now. We are going out of town this weekend on business, and I am trying to get things finished up at my job so I can go on vacation, and I am quitting in June.

Guess what! They are kicking me out of my office before I'm even gone There are some changes coming and someone else needs my space, so I have to try to juggle my stuff down and share an office with my doc until I am gone. One more reason to be gone I had this perfect plan so I could be finished up and have my replacement somewhat trained by my June vacation - then come back and spend time packing and shredding, and answering her questions. Now, I will spend a bunch of time packing, not collecting money and I will leave her with a bunch to do - I wanted to leave her with a nice tidy package, but oh well, she and the boss are allowing themselves to be pushed around and I was the last to know again - I am supposed to be the office manager My DH says I need to be gracious and not burn any bridges - I don't even want to go back.

We just got back from Kentucky late last night, so I have not had a computer for a week! But it was a really nice trip, except for the drive through a blizzard in the moutains of WV and then driving back home through rain the whole way!

Now we are back and it is time to finalize WDW plans!!! I feel so behind! I don't even know how we are getting there yet! After the 10 hours in the car with the kids I have pretty much cured my fear of flying! But, we want to bring all of our stuff with us and groceries because we are staying in a villa. So now we are looking into the auto train. Oh well back to stress now. I am glad I got in a relaxing vacation before our disney trip! Now back to this and then a lot of this !

I love Indiana Jones and the stunt show! I wish they had an Indiana Jones ride in WDW. That is so cool that they are making another Indy movie. People have been talking about that for a long time but this is the first I heard about when it's coming out. Thanks.

Tammie - I left my job when my DD was born. They kept hoping that maybe I would come back so they didn't hire anyone right away. Even though I felt bad for them I was glad that I didn't have to do my work and teach someone at the same time, especially while pregnant. That last week I could hardly move.

Debbie and Sewer - Is this the coldest April ever? I am so.... ready for vacation.

Sorry I have been a little MIA. Been doing more reading then typing. The weather just brings me down man!

Well, as you can see by my siggie I got yelled at again for my siggie being too big/long. I think this current one isn't as bad. PM me if you would like it. If you like the current one don't visit the RESORT BOARDS! This time they gave me 20 points with the infraction whatever!!!


STILL haven't booked any hotels for November or June. I guess I am waiting for something wonderful (i.e. a code or package) to appear and it just hasn't yet.

I am currently contemplating AAA.

Tammie.... know how you feel. I used to be an Office Manager at a Geotechical Engineering firm for 8 1/2 years. I loved that job until we were bought out by a national company. I stayed there for 1.5 years after, but I could tell they were planning on closing our office in the next year or so. I was in the middle of building a new house so I decided to leave. I still miss it (the way it used to be). I knew it would go downhill faster when I left (I was the only one who knew how to do a lot of things and well...2 weeks isn't enough time to show a replacement IMO). They closed 4 months after I left and moved to Richmond.

But going on vacation will be great and get your mind off of it. Plus you'll have that new grandbaby or two to keep you plenty busy!

Ahibird (keahi) I bet it's not snowing by you! Hey, are you going through the dreaded Disney trip withdrawls???

No snow here (a little rain, though ), and YES, I need a Disney fix, BAD. I am going through some serious withdrawals... I find myself flipping through the calendar trying to find a time to schedule our next trip to WDW or DL. I would love to go to WDW for my b-day, too. However, August is sooo hot (and crowded), not sure if DH would be up for it. (DS and I are scheming to go without him ). Or maybe wait a couple of weeks to take advantage of free dining. Hmmm decisions, decisions...

Back to reality... unless an unbelieveable airfare offer from Honolulu to Orlando comes out, it will be 2008 before we visit WDW again.

One can dream, though...

Good for you. Leaving a job isn't easy, and you seem to have put a lot of thought and planning into how you were going to do this (hey, are you a control freak or a worry wart ? ). Hi everybody! Sorry I haven't been around lately, I have missed everyone. I am a little overwhelmed with everything right now (kids, work, cleaning), plus the weather is really getting me down. I am so tired of being cooped up in the house. We have a great playset in the yard, but we've only been out there once in the last few weeks.

I hope to be on more again. I have to confess, I have been on a Gymbo board lately, but I have to stop the madness! I keep buying kids clothes and now DH has put me on a budget . We are planning on going back to WDW in Oct, so I should be hanging around the DIS boards more.

The pharmacist I work with is in WDW right now...I am so jealous! I find myself wondering what she is doing and I can't wait to hear about her trip.

I still have to catch up on some posts, but I hope everyone is doing well and that winter will be over SOON!

We usually go to WDW in October but will be trying out November this year. We are going to try and work it so we can go to the Christmas party which we have never gone too before. I don't do well with change though so I am kind of wigging out about it.

Ahibird...I thought of youyesterday when I visited the website of the spa in the Hilton Resort we stayed at some time ago. They have this incredible smelling lotion so I was thinking about ordering some. I looked it up and it was $28.00 plus shipping for 9 oz. Yikes! But it smells so....good!!!!!!!!! Who knows maybe I will splurge and get it for my 40th birthday! The 65.00 bottle is actually more of a deal if you can believe it. Have you ever tried it?
