Ahibird...I thought of youyesterday when I visited the website of the spa in the Hilton Resort we stayed at some time ago. They have this incredible smelling lotion so I was thinking about ordering some. I looked it up and it was $28.00 plus shipping for 9 oz. Yikes! But it smells so....good!!!!!!!!! Who knows maybe I will splurge and get it for my 40th birthday! The 65.00 bottle is actually more of a deal if you can believe it. Have you ever tried it?

Yes. I love that lotion !!! We go to the Hilton Waikoloa every summer, and they put sample sizes of the lotion in the room - it's wonderful after a day in the sun.:cloud9:

Debbie...I hear that Gymbo is having an additional 20% off already marked down lines starting tomorrow. Just in case you needed anymore kids clothes;)

If I just bought items on sale there yesterday do you think I should go back and have them readjust my receipt (return items and then repurchase with an additional 20%)??? Or is that completetely crazy!

They do price adjustments for 7 days after date of purchase. What have you gotten lately at Gymbo?

That's where I fell in love with it! I could have kicked myself for not hiding the sample each night in my bag so each day I would get a new one!! I know....I'm bad! Boy did the price jump up if you want to buy it!

Cool! I am going back!
But you know I'll just spend more when I go back!

Another cool rainy day in NJ. This weekend the temp is supposted to be in the 70's, but I have to work. Monday is supposed to be warm, too and I am off so I am looking forward to it! I am getting out of the house as much as I can.

Lisa...I hope that you are doing ok. I have been thinking about you. Even though the loss never goes away, it does get better after time.

Pam...My brother works at the Lockheed in Valley Forge, PA. It would be great if we could me up sometime during the summer. I wish the malls around here had play areas. It would make it so much easier to take the kids out shopping!

Debbie...As you probably know, there is no 20% off sale at Gymbo. This is the first time I have ever seen a wrong sale prediction on the gymbo boards. Oh well, it saved me some money that I didn't need to spend!

Hi to hannahsmom, magicfor2, sewer, ahibird!

Hey Guys! Man, after listening to you guys I am glad that I never shopped in Gymboree. I probably would have gotten myself into a lot of trouble. I all ready do that at Old Navy! We even do the classes there and I was getting all these gymbucks, I should have past them on to you guys. If he takes another class there I will keep ya'll in mind.

Jacyln.....you only have 15 days to go!!!!! Yay!!!!!!! It's not just Gymbo..I tend to get carried away in every store (They know by name in Gymbo, Old Navy, TCP, and Target).

Maybe we need to start a SA group! (shopper's Anonymous) "Hello, my name is Pam, I haven't shopped for 5 days." :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Listen...I better stop shopping or I am going to be in a heap of trouble:headache: . I looked at my VISA charges this month and it's not pretty:scared1: ! I need to kick myself in the butt and at least try and make some money on Ebay!!! I have so many clothes that are like new to sell (for obvious reasons:confused3 ).

:rolleyes1 I have not booked anything for the June 3rd and 4th nights in Disney or our fall trip in November. I can't decide but am leaning towards joining AAA and going that route for now. Also, I have to rent a car for the June 2nd thru 11th trip. Any suggestions or codes on that front???

:flower3: Hope you guys all have a great weekend. We are FINALLY in for some nice weather here! Yeah!

Called AAA last week and the guy said that there were no deals or promotions coming up and then I check today and......

OFFER....
Member: $54.00
Associate: $11.50
Enrollment Fee:Waived!
That is as savings of almost $35.00 dollars! It was 23.00 for an additional person plus a $10.00 enrollment fee!

Thank Goodness I didn't join with him and I waited!

I hit enter by accident...

Step 2: Wh en you see something you like....keep walking...

Tammie...you are sooo :lmao: :lmao:

Debbie....Try Alamo for renting a car. I think by FAR they are the cheapest. You can keep checking back after you reserve something and if the price goes down you can rebook. If you belong to BJ's or Costco you get a discount through them. A month ago I reserved a Chevy Trailblazer SUV for 10 days for $370. That included all the taxes and stupid fees they charge  , but it was even cheaper than a compact!!! Last weekend I happened to check again and the price went down...so I rebooked (do that first and then cancel the old) I got the same Chevy Trailblazer for 10 days for $301.00. PM if you need anything or if I can answer some questions. We're going out for dinner so I'll be back later.

Pam

I think SA is a great idea...I definitely have a shopping problem. I think I should but some of the time and money that I use for kids clothes into clothes for myself. I am stuck in a rut with my clothes. I feel like I have no style. I would love to be on "What Not to Wear". Its much more fun to dress up the kids, though.

I hear you Maureen!!!! My wardrobe consists of "dressy T shirts," if there is such a thing, jeans, capris, and maybe a few cute tunics or something. "The SAHM Wardrobe." I used to buy super cute stuff to wear, but it sat in the closet or it got worn once because I didn't have a "formal" job anymore.

90% of my wardrobe has a Disney element to it. How sad is that?????

I am a total Control Freak too. I also have slight OCD which makes the need to be in control really bad!

Oy!

Maiziezoe(Ann) - I think I have slight OCD. I am the biggest worry wart. Welcome to the control freak/worry wart club.

Maureen & Pam - Most of my clothes are baby tees or t-shirts but for my birthday my mom always buys me some nice clothes. I decided on my last b-day that I am going to try to where my nicer shirts even if they can get ruined. It's funny how we buy more for our kids than ourselves.

Debbie and Keahi - I have a lot of Disney clothes too. I love my sketched character jeans.

Tammie & Jaclyn - Hi!

Hi everyone! I have been :surfweb: and :laundy: and packing all day - had 3 appointments and a huge order to place today - was in a booth yesterday for our Women in Business group - lots of fun, but the work really piled up for today:scared1: I am finally done! We are leaving for Vegas in 6 hours, getting up in 5 - guess I'd better get to bed.

Welcome, Maizizoe!

Pam, Lisa, Maureen: I updated my wardrobe last year - gives you such a boost! Just a couple of things with some updated beads and some new make-up can be so fun!
(I can't believe this is me now - I was a barefoot, no make-up child of the 70's :lmao: )

Debbie, good job on the AAA! Now you can find those discounts and get your ressies made! Check out our tickers!!!!!:dance3:

Sewer, Jacqlyn: Hi!

I hope I didn't miss anyone I've talked to lately - have a great week!

:grouphug:
