Cammie - I live in crocs and have for 2 years. They were great when pregnant! I have the mary janes and feel that I get more support from the Caymen - way more. Now, I wear my mary janes a lot in the summer since they don't look as , well , boaty :lmao: (I wear a size 9), but for lots of walking I always wear my caymans. I would say that the ones that are just vented around the sole are just as good as the ones with all the holes - however, the ones with no holes at all are great for rain/winter, but you do need socks with them or your feet will sweat! I LOVE THEM though. I seriously think I will be in them more at Disney than my tennis shoes. I have 6 pairs I think. AND when they get yucky, just put them in the wash. No dryer though.

You and your crocs sound like me and my Teva flipflops. I live in those from spring through as late in fall that my piggies can handle! I was never a flipflop person, but these are so comfy; that's all I usually wear in Disney. They're only about $25/pair - I have about 5 pair - all different colors to coordinate with what I'm wearing for the day, of course! Will try on the crocs though - not real sold on them yet. I'll report back when I get in this afternoon.

Blasted DH wants the computer for work. Gee.... Quickly. Missing POTC from our plan. What land is that in so I can add it in. Adventureland?

Debbie? I am so sad.. I didn't listen when you posted the link to the Tim McGraw song...I kept thinking I would catch up and then forgot - could you post it again? I PROMISE I'll listen this time! :rotfl2: I'm calling you later - I never did get around to emailing! Hope to see you in 2 DAYS!

Okay - this is THE LAST ONE! :lmao:

I know you gals have the brave bunch, but DS has been watching PARTS of Star Wars with DH and loves it. Would you take him on the Star Tours ride? I'm still trying to figure out how well he can seperate fact from fiction. HE THINKS SPEED IS REAL, etc. I thought about seeing if he wants to do the JEDI thing, he may, but may not when he sees Darth.

Renee - CoP is in Tomorrowland.

As for Star Tours - the one in DHS? If that's the one, they I would say a big, fat NO! I don't think he'd be old or big enough to ride. According to Birnbaums: "This is a very turbulent ride.........kids under 3 are not allowed to ride."

I took DS on it when he was 4. I thought it would just be fun for him - he screamed and cried the whole time! :scared1: He thought it was real, and he kept screaming, "get me out of here" "Mommy, please get me out of here!" I tried holding his hand and telling him it was only a story, but he just couldn't get it. He tells me he's still traumatized! :lmao:

I just skimmed real fast but wanted to say Hi to everyone and welcome back to Jillian.

WE ARE OUTSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is WONDERFUL!!! Not gonna miss any of it!
I am pumping the LIVE365 out the window now too that's what I came here for.

I'll be back later....
BTW Cammie you are never going to find Minnie Jane's in a store. You can try on the regular Mary Jane style but I don't see where you would find the Disney ones at a store in your area. Good luck any way!

Debbie - You're 20 DEGREES warmer than me! No fair!

I did find the Mickey crocs at a local store; and they had a very small selection of crocs overall. I figure even if I just find the regular mary janes, I'll try them on and see how I feel about them.

Today is a FL "grey day." I feel really bad for Erin and Tessa - hopefully it's nicer down there!

DH made it out of the bathroom, and he's still on the laptop - but then again, so am I! :lmao: It's so gloomy out though that DD and I are going to go take a nap. It's a good day for it.

I found a spreadsheet so I just mapped out our days! I swore I wouldn't do this either. Oh, well. I do think we need about 4 extra days though! :rotfl2: I just have to stay positive and know that anything we don't see this time, we can catch in October or maybe even December!

Cammie, I have a new plan. I'm going to continue to book 2 or 3 day trips to WDW the rest of the year, so DH will realize that we just HAVE to buy the DVC! I got some info in the mail from the Timeshare Store in Orlando, they are the #1 seller of DVC resales. He's like "what in the world is this???" Then he promptly opened it up and studied it for an hour!!!!!

K, off for now - see y'all later! Debbie, glad to hear you're out and about today - hopefully some of the cabin fever is burning off! :thumbsup2

Wow- I missed a lot!

Debbie glad to hear the nice weather made it your way. DH is driving home from ND in a blizzard. While we are in a down pour. Can only imagine what's next.

Renee- I think I'm flying under the radar when it comes to my millon ADRs. :) I think everyone talked me out of my plans to create a touring plan for each park. I need to enjoy the vacation.

George Clooney--yummmy:goodvibes

Kara- dh sounds like my DH the laptop can be glued to him.

Jillian- hope the trip was wonderful.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed the weather improves for Erin and Tessa.

I'm at work again. I'll stop back and catch up.

Laura I feel for you with the weather! How sucky!

Cammie...good luck with the shoes......

Tammie....the more I think about hooking up with you the more nervous I get about you going back and forth through security.....:scared:

Hi Kara!!
I forgot Tessa was there at the same time as Erin.....

:scared1: Yeah, I have the jumbo size kid. He is big enough for everything but Everest I think. This is defiantely a no!

I took DS on it when he was 4. I thought it would just be fun for him - he screamed and cried the whole time! :scared1: He thought it was real, and he kept screaming, "get me out of here" "Mommy, please get me out of here!" :scared1: See, that is what I'm afraid of, screwing up and doing that. I sort of did that with the dino exhibit not to long ago. "MOMMY, GET ME OUTTA HERE! LOOK-USE THE EMERGENCY EXIT!" :lmao: Poor baby!

Ok Tammie - I think we both probably scared Renee away from Star Tours!
YEP, but that is a good thing!

Today is a FL "grey day." I feel really bad for Erin and Tessa - hopefully it's nicer down there!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I was skimming. I read today was a "grey goose day". I was like, wow, didn't take long to whip out the booze today. :lmao:

Renee- I think I'm flying under the radar when it comes to my millon ADRs. :) I think everyone talked me out of my plans to create a touring plan for each park. I need to enjoy the vacation..
Don't talk to me. I have a plan. A small index card for each park. Combined several sources. How long the ride takes, when to visit, what land it is in, etc. LOVE IT! I'd rather have a plan, an outline in my mind and say screw it than be there wishing I had planned. Besides, if not I will end up in therapy from Star Tours! :scared1:

I took DD to the dr. Side effect from the MMR they think. Give it till Tues morning, if still the yucky snot they will do an antibiotic then. Poor dear. She feels crummy. I'm going in tomorrow if I can. I think my sinus infection I had a couple weeks ago wasn't knocked out and is creeping in again. My ears have been stuffy for 3 days now. Not a good sign. Better get this nipped in the bud before flying. I let it go before going to Vegas and flew just after starting antibiotics. NEVER again.

On a positive. Just a few more days. So far seems like nice weather. :woohoo:

Well, back from my croc hunt!

Really don't like the regular ones; found the mary jane style much more comfortable. Not sure if I would wear these around the parks, but I could still get a pair to wear around the house. Did check out the link Debbie posted the other nite - I think the brown minnie janes are adorable; I may go for them!

Renee- I think I'll join you in a Grey Goose something! (You MUST try the Grey Goose Citron slushies sold at a kiosk in France at Epcot - yummy! ) Also, re: your index cards - try to laminate them if you can; that way they won't get wet or sweaty and they'll hold up much better. BTW- for your next trip, you should look into purchasing the Passporter. I'll be using mine for the first time with this trip, but it's really helping me stay organized. I know Tammie has used it before and I think she loves it.

We have not seen the sun around here since Thurs. - so dreary and cold. Seriously, it feels like a bitter Nov. afternoon!

My girls should be home soon; will check back in later!

!
You have to warm up to the crocs. I was the same way. At least get a pair to wear while doing yard work. They rock for that stuff. I'm one step ahead of you on the laminating. I also have my Passporter beside me :thumbsup2 I think I have read all the books out there. Passporter and TGM will always be my musts... but I like UG too.

No slush for me. I've decided to avoid that EPCOT. I have awful allergies and my eyes water just thinking about that Flower fest they are having there. No thank you! I'm sure they will all have their share of blooming stuff, but a place that makes a festival out of it isn't on my to-do list. :rotfl:

Here's a shock. I love my passporter. It has everything crammed in it. You'd love it.
