Ok, let me ask both of you, Renee & Laura: are you planning on carrying your passporter with you everywhere? Or will you just take out the pages you need? I'm still figuring out how to travel with it

Renee - To bad about your allergies and Epcot's flower show: forgot about that. Yeah, you'll want to stay far away from that! And -- I definitely make sure I get the crocs within the coming weeks; wear them around and see how they feel. I just love my flipflops though - my feet get so hot and I really don't like to have them covered up!

i'm going to take copies of all those pages and bring them each to the park on a daily basis. Otherwise it would be to heavy to carry. I'll have it in my ziplock baggie :) I like it because it contains everything in one place. I'm keeping the pages in there so I won't lose them so next time we go I can look and see what we did.

I've been wearing my sandals around the house to break them in too.

Cammie - I'm just taking my old ones. My problem is since I have practically worn them for 2 years, I'm wondering how comfy my tennis shoes will be! I'm taking both. I will wear my tennis shoes Sat. That will give me a couple hours in the park and then I will go from there the next day (AK).

My Passporter is going in my carryon - backpack. I don't know but I don't think I will take it to the park. I think it will live at the resort. I plan on taking my cheat sheet which has about everything I think I will need. I LOVE the maps in it. I hate ripping out pages - so I'm thinking of what to do about that. I like knowing the travel times to get to places. NOW, if I do change my mind, I'm planning on carrying the backpack in the park and pitching it in the basket at the bottom of my stroller. I would stick it there. I have a cross shoulder bag that DH got at a conference that I will keep my stuff I need to get to frequently. Help any?

SO here is my anal confession. I think DS would love that river ride at AK. I've rulled it out since day one because I don't want to get soaked. Am I a bad mommy? We could just wear our crocs that day and our ponchos but I have heard so many say they still got soaked to the core. I don't like to walk around all wet.

We LOVE Kali River Rapids! It's so fun - but, yes, you probably will get wet. That's half the fun! We've gotten soaked to the bone, but when it's so hot out, it's not that bad!

I guess DS screaming WHEEE! wins out over me staying dry, now doesn't it. It isn't like I'm not taking an extra set of clothes for each of us anyway.

Well, I think I have my little cheat sheets done. Just need to check them later to make sure they are looking like they flow. Tonight I should sorta finish up packing.

Cammie - thanks for tipping me to the transportation board. I never could find the thread but I did start one. A couple people cleared me up - but I was amazed that taking unmarked bottles wasn't the best idea. Had no idea they might get pitched. Someone said to take cheap shampoo bottles and pour your good stuff in them. Seems silly, but I can play the game if that is what it takes. :rolleyes1

Okay, here I go to vent. :headache: Why am I always behind on EVERYTHING. I sware. I never would have thought two kids would make me such a different person! I am always late. My house is always a mess. We eat out TONS more than I would like. I know all this is not good. I want to get it together, but do I ever get it together... no. And don't even get me started on the weight loss! ERRR. Just one of those days. The kids are sick and at each others throat and DH who thinks he is man of the year, is really no help at all, bless him. I want to be outside, but when I do I get all yucky. I have had to repeat myself a zillion times too. I guess since everyone has fussed to me today, I feel like I can do it to you guys. SORRY.

I feel the exact same way EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every day I wake up and say "today will be better" and it NEVER is................
I feel like a dog chasing my tail. Granted there are fun, precious, happy times in the middle of me never getting caught up but I never feel like I have accomplished anything!

WONDERFUL DAY!! 65 or so and sunny....I even got laundry done:laundy: throughout the day. The kids basically went up and down the block on their bikes all day. DD even tried 2 wheels! I think she's on her way but not quite yet. We barbequed lamb chops with salad while all along I had my LIVE365 Intercot blaring out my window. It was wonderful! Thought I'd share the good since all I usually do is ***** about the weather here!

Sorry the rest of you aren't having better weather. I needed it to snap me out of this winter funk!

Thanks Debbie. I sware, I mean it is the same. Nothing ever gets taken off the "to do" that at least 3 more get added on. My main thing is I have got to figure out some quick, healthy options for everyone at home. DD is just at that into everything age and being in the kitchen for more than 2 seconds is a huge challenge.

I'm glad you had nice weather today. YOU ARE MORE THAN DUE!

I just lost a post.... nothing irks me more since I suck at typing:headache: ...
OK there are things that irk me more but here I will type it again...

Your welcome Renee! We have to be here for each other because it's HARD being a good Mom and only other good Mom's understand!

I keep up with a thread about National car rental codes and today someone posted a travel agent code that drops your rate tremendously. They also posted an international visa code, which I used that worked (saved me a ton). Would you take the risk to save lots of money?????

BTW Last night was the night we originally were supposed to set are clocks forward so check everything in your life that might have jumped forward again on ya (like my computer did)!

You and your crocs sound like me and my Teva flipflops. I live in those from spring through as late in fall that my piggies can handle! I was never a flipflop person, but these are so comfy; that's all I usually wear in Disney. They're only about $25/pair - I have about 5 pair - all different colors to coordinate with what I'm wearing for the day, of course! Will try on the crocs though - not real sold on them yet. I'll report back when I get in this afternoon.

Okay, so here is the Worry Wart coming out. SO the dr said it was a reaction to the MMR maybe. I was thinking, okay. I noticed she has a small rash on her tummy that has been there a couple of days. SO, perhaps this is the MMR thing. Then I go to look up side effects. OMG! They have that thing linked to autism on one site - and they weren't talking about the thermerasol preservative either. LOVELY. However, her symptoms - yucky nose, rash, fever, all go along with MMR side effects.

GREAT - so does that mean she is having a slight case of one of those, and that now we have all been exposed? I had no idea that shot was suppose to be so "bad" and now I feel all guilty because I had no idea all this debate was going on about if you should/shouldn't do it!!! :scared1:

Okay... FYI, I've calmed down. Appears this is a very common reaction - no one can catch it. Just sucks, but that appears to be it. Poor girl. She has been sensative since the start, so I guess that I shouldn't be shocked.

Off to do some things before bed. Hope everyone has a good - non stressed night.

I always get something in my head I "have to have" and this is my latest.............

$368.00 @ Walmart.com but it says it's sold out! I am going to do a search!

I love my flip flops, too - I think I have an addiction! But I hate to wear anything open toed to the parks for fear of getting my tootsies stepped on. I've had it happen before, and it's usually a rather large person, and there goes the pedicure!!!! :rotfl:

You WILL get wet! I always keep a big black garbage bag in my bag so I can dump the bag, shoes (if not wearing crocs!), camera, etc, into the garbage bag, put my poncho on, and coming out all dry and comfy!!!!!

Honey, you're preachin to the choir!!!!!! My neighbor stopped by today and I was horrified that she might want to come in and see my disgusting kitchen! But first she'd have to step over the 6 pairs of shoes in the foyer, and make her way through the family room with blankets and couch pillows all over the floor, plus the newspaper scattered all over the place, and about a zillion empty glasses on the end tables!!!! Aarrgghh!!!!! :scared1:

Dontcha just love the first few really nice spring days??? It smells so good outside, and just feels good. So glad it helped with your winter funk!

I remember debating several vaccinations and then thinking, okay, the risk is so minimal, but without the vaccine, the chances of catching, measles, etc, is much greater and also very dangerous. Sometimes I wish I just didn't even know about the risks of these things.

Had a nice little nap this afternoon, felt much better when I woke up. Then took the dog to PetSmart - yeah, that was definitely a bonehead move! :rotfl: DD begged me to take him , and I'm such a sucker..... He's 40 lbs and not trained at all, so he was a terror in the store!

Then I went to Target to get hamburger buns. Think that's all I got???? :rotfl2:

Went to Circuit City to get a wireless card for our Tivo, they had no clue what I was talking about! Yeah, makes me feel really good. Debbie, this is what we need, right? To be able to get Live365 through the TV??? Well, we're having Tivo issues anyway and DH was losing his patience so he put it on hold until tomorrow. At least it's all hooked up now.

Have a wonderful Monday everyone!!!!!

Kara I just looked at your tickers (which are really stretching the thread out:rotfl2: ) and saw your trip is right around the corner. I know it's 28 days away but that will be here before you know it. Hey, maybe I will see you in October. When are you actually going? Do you know yet? We are now leaning towards the 3rd/4th week in October.

I'm so glad that DD is too old for this, because I would have to have it too!!!!!

There is just too much Disney stuff out there - did I say that out loud??? :confused3

More news on "Plan DVC." As much as DH and I love BW, he just said he might like to buy at Beach Club instead. So he is totally thinking about it. I think my next plan of attack needs to be to sit back and let HIM do the research, and let it be HIS idea. The only thing I will have to do is get him to the DVC tour next month....... If I can get him to take the tour, I think the pixie dust will take care of the rest!!!!!
