Matthew McConnaughey smells!:snooty:

Seriously, he's stated in many interviews that he doesn't wear deodorant - at all! Likes the smell of his own "manly" smell! And that man seems to like to work out alot so I'm sure he's generating plenty of that "manly" smell! :scared:

Yes, I've read that too!!!! But I think I could live with that!!! :rotfl: Hey, we like sweaty Sawyer and we can only imagine that he hasn't showered in however long they've been stranded!

Tammie, so funny, I almost posted "anyone heard from Tammie lately?" and then you were posting at the same time! :rotfl2:

I'm so sorry about DDIL! Have you talked to your son about this? I think I'd approach him first and hopefully he can address it with her instead of you doing that. I was always told (kinda the opposit way) that any issues I had with DMIL that DH should address since he is the true relation and will be forgive easier.

Yup, go left!!!! It is so true, too! We tested it several times last month at MK and Universal and it really does work!

I reloaded my Donner bag yesterday and hauled it around town - it acually holds more than I remember, but not sure how comfy it is on the shoulder - my shoulders are pretty sunburnt now so that might be the problem.

Glad to see you're back with us!

I'm not really understanding your question. Any "prescription" meds are not held to the 3oz. rule - just keep them in their original bottle from the pharmacy. I travel with quite a few meds for my daughter and have, not once, put them in a plastic baggie or even taken them out of my carryon. I usually carry her meds in a Ariel insulated lunch box - security has never opened it. And, now that I think about it, some of the meds ! carry in the lunchbox are not all prescription: Motrin, Sudafed - all liquid and over 3 oz. Like I said, NOT ONCE, have they ever opened and examined the med bag! Guess they're too busy figuring out all the medical equipment I'm carrying on, they let the meds slide!:lmao: (BTW - there was a thread about liquid meds on the transportation board last week; you could try to find it; there are ALOT of experienced travellers over there that give good advice)

BTW - congrats on the fridge!

Hey Tammie! Good to hear from you again! You seem to be partying alot!

Sorry about the situation with your DGS. I think this has come up before, hasn't it? I had mentioned then, I always think the son's mom gets the short end of the stick. I'm seeing it now with my brother and his son and how much time they spend with my parents. My SIL's parents live in the SAME town as mine, yet she hardly takes my nephew over to see my parents - makes it seem like such a chore. And maybe it is, but too bad! They're still her son's grandparents! I think it's good for you to say something NOW! Don't let it go on like this because resentment will just eat away at you! Good luck!:flower3:

Thanks for your support ladies! I am going to try to talk to DS about this. Actually DH might do that - he is taking me to the airport in their town on Tues and having lunch with him. Maybe he can find out if I've done something other than not baby her... :rolleyes1 I don't do the coddling thing well - she seems to need that.

I'm listening to Buzz Lightyear right now - gotta love that 365! I guess I'll get up and make some coffee before I get a headache  Have a great day - I'll check back in later - need to :laundy: and pack.

Kara - I love the BW design. Can I save it to my pictures and print it out?

And regarding our lovely, shirtless Sawyer - I always imagine he smells just fine! You remember, don't you? He went through everyone's luggage - so I'm sure he's hoarding all the deodorant and cologne!

Yes, I'm off to make coffee also!

Okay, just skimming quickly the posts...

Kara - oh yeah, works good. Just sit on the floor when you do it. PANCAKE!
Yeah, in checking the weather I worried about the GFATP too. At least they are there for nice long stays, so it will have small impact on their stay.

Cammie - I guess you are right, the meds for you are probably small potatoes. DS anitbiotic needs to be chilled. I need to take liquid cough med - no prescription for him, and my gel caps which are eating up my little baggie. Was wondering if I could pitch it all together and then be able to put my lotion in the bag. I will see if I can find the thread. Thanks again. SEE YOU KNOW SO MUCH! :thumbsup2

HELP! Lets revive the dead horse to kill it one last time :rotfl2: :lmao:
OK - Day 2 (after getting up at 4 am the day before) RD at AK, ride TS a couple times, get FP to Safari, breakfast at Tusker at 9:40, Ride Safari, hope stars are aligned and get to FOTLK for the 1 show.

I just called and got another ADR (shhhh... Kara, stop laughing) for 8:05. This would let us into the park before it opens, so we should be leaving at RD and could then just go to Safari and then on to FOTLK for sure.

Which plan should I stick with? Think one is better than the other?

Remeber that is the only night I can do CM - and it is at 8.
FOTLK times ... 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 1,2,3,5 & 6:30

Nope, my vote is for the funny, clean Cloony. :snooty:

Yup! Just save and print! They come out soooo vibrant! I bought cardstock for all mine, but a few I actually printed on photo paper and they just POP they are so bright!!!!

Keep in mind, if my memory serves me right, TS is quite a long way from KS in AK. Like on the other side of the park??? And AK is a BIG park, too! You may want to download the park map and double check that one. And yes, of course I'm laughing at you! This is what? 37 ADRs in 4 days???? :lmao:

Yep, Kara, you are right. It is on the other side of the park. I have no idea the distance, but on the park map it is at complete opposite ends. One is top right, one is bottom left.

SO you think that just going with the 8:05 would be better based on running my butt off? :lmao: How will I ever close my zip lock bags????

Renee - You're too funny! You must have the record for "Most ADRs schedulled ever!"

First thought - I always think it's beneficial to have an ADR in a park before it opens - you kind of have a head start. And this is the plan I think you should stick with; I'll tell you why but, keep in mind, every family tours differently - what works for one family may not work for yours.

I can get my girls up and out in the morning; but once we get to where we're going, they want to eat! They are usually starving! With your first plan, would your DS last until 9:40 to eat when he's already been up for a few hours? Mine wouldn't. I personally like to get the eating out of the way first; once we start hitting the rides, we're "in the groove". Then we coast until lunch and just find a CS place when the mood hits. Your first plan has you hitting a few rides; stopping for a TS meal; then going back out and running around again. I think it kind of breaks your momentum; but then again, with a little one, maybe that's what you'll need. I don't know - hope I haven' confused you too much!

In a nutshell, if we've going to get an ADR for breakfast, I like to make sure it's the first thing we're doing when we get to the park; then we're free to do what we want until dinner. Good luck!

Oh, and printing out my little Plans of where everything is, how long it takes, etc. All like shows and rides, right? Except one thing. Got Aloha Isle marked for a DOLE WHIP. :rotfl2: :lmao: my ww leader would love that one!

Cammie - I think you make total sense. YES DS would have to have a snack to hold him over to the 9:40, so maybe you are tons right.

Early ADR it is.

Okay, so why does everyone pick on my Breakfast and Dinner ADRs (which is 6 by the way) when LAURA has a gazillion! :lmao: Come on girls, spread the wealth here!

Renee - I like Cammie's reasoning. Will you have a granola bar or something for DS before breakfast? I also agree that a 9:40 ADR will break up the rythm you've set. I know I wouldn't want to stop and eat that soon after entering the park and hitting attractions. I just never thought of it like that until Cammie brought it up.

OK, funny story! DH is tuned into intercot again this morning. And we're listening to the monorail loop right now on Live365. He's sooo into it now! So into in, in fact, that he just jumped up and ran to the restroom (I know, TMI) and took the laptop with him!!!!!! :rotfl2: I don't know whether to be scared or proud! :confused3

Yes, I AM all knowing and the voice of reason!;)

I was going to post basically the same thing - I think being there before the park opens is the best plan.

NO WW while on vacation!!! ;) Maybe you can just run back and forth across the park a whole bunch of times....:rolleyes1

By the way Kara, thanks for the little present! I love it! I saved it, but I haven't tried to print it yet - I'll probably just wait until we tackle our T-shirt projects.

I just ordered a pair of Teva sandals on their website for $9.99 in the clearance section - Thanks Cammie! I also ordered a pair of flip flops. I plan to wear my crocs, but I got a hot spot from the hinge thingy last time, so I want some options.

I'm listening to the full Carousel of Progress presentation! I want to be there now - taking my nap - :rotfl:

Welcome back Jillian!

Can't wait to hear all about your trip!

Tammie - And I'm going out today to try on crocs. Debbie and Kara had me convinced the other night to try the Minnie Janes; so I'm hoping to find them somewhere and give them a try. Still will probably stick with my Teva flipflops most of the time.

Hmmm - listening to the Illuminations music!:cloud9:

Cammie - I live in crocs and have for 2 years. They were great when pregnant! I have the mary janes and feel that I get more support from the Caymen - way more. Now, I wear my mary janes a lot in the summer since they don't look as , well , boaty :lmao: (I wear a size 9), but for lots of walking I always wear my caymans. I would say that the ones that are just vented around the sole are just as good as the ones with all the holes - however, the ones with no holes at all are great for rain/winter, but you do need socks with them or your feet will sweat! I LOVE THEM though. I seriously think I will be in them more at Disney than my tennis shoes. I have 6 pairs I think. AND when they get yucky, just put them in the wash. No dryer though.
