and not just the bigger ones that you see listed when DQ is talked about online but is there actually a list somewhere of every single game in the place?

My DH is a huge gamer and I am trying to find a time to squeeze in some time for him to go over to DQ for a few hours some evening to play some vids. We are just questioning the cost and if there will be the games he likes (not just Disney themed, virtual reality type stuff).

Thanks!

DS9 found Guitar Hero there. DQ was a loud, noisy blur for me so I don't remember much.

We went to DQ in may...We loved it there are 5 floors of nothing but games..old arcade games, virtial games etc...it was great...if you have a water park and fun option on your tickets that is included if not I think it was like 50.00 for the day per person..

Hope this helps

Virtual Jungle Cruise
Pirates of the Caribbean - Battle for Buccaneer Gold
Radio Disney Songmaker
Animation Academy
Living Easels
Sid's Create-a-Toy
Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride
CyberSpace Mountain
Underground Arcade
Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam
Race Zone
Ventureport
Classic Games
Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters
Sports Arena Arcade
Ride the Comix
ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter

I was also looking for a list of games there. I know about all the creation stuff, all of the virtual reality, and whatnot, but what about regular arcade games?

What about games like DDR? Guitar Hero? Gauntlet? Tekken? Soul Calibur? Is there anything that will let me shoot people? :confused3

the link lvdis posted looks right, I remember most of those being there.

there are also shooting games, basketball, skee-ball, air hockey, racing/driving games, jet ski games (like a Dave & Buster's) and all the OLD retro arcade games.

We always have a lot of fun there. The food there is awesome, the BEST desserts!!

Happy planning!

I don't know how I haven't been there in almost 10 years. It sounds like I would absolutely love it.

Anywho. From Wikipedia, the undeniably always correct source source (/end sarcasm)

Classic arcade games such as Pac-Man, Asteroids, Tron, BurgerTime, Zaxxon, Pengo, Kangaroo, Berzerk, Donkey Kong (in all its iterations), Joust, Robotron: 2084, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Marble Madness, Moon Patrol, Spy Hunter, Asteroids Deluxe, Centipede, Millipede, Q*Bert, Missile Command, Frogger, Arkanoid, Mario Bros., Dig Dug, Mr. Do!, Gorf, Galaga, and others.

Arcade games from the 1990s and 2000s such as an eight-player linked Sega Daytona USA, a four-player linked San Francisco Rush 2049, a four-player linked Sega OutRun 2, three Pump It Up dance games (Exceed 2, Zero and NX2), Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2, four Guitar Hero Arcade games, a number of fighting games such as Tekken 5, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and the arcade edition of Soulcalibur. There were many more games, such as two Sega Crazy Taxi machines, 6 Sega Sea Hawk machines, one Sega Star Wars Trilogy Arcade machine, double two-player linked Mario Kart Arcade GP cabinets, several sports arcade games including Sega Air Trix, Virtua Tennis, Sega World Series Baseball, Bowl-O-Rama, Sega Marine Fishing, F&F Super Bikes, the unique and extremely rare Sega Flash Beat, and many others.

Skeeball, "shoot-the-hoops,", air hockey, and other games of skill.

Also, if you're staying on property: ask if they have arcades. I find that although the arcades are small, they sometimes have some awesome games. I always beat Jurassic Park (there's a shooting game!) whenever I stay at Wilderness Lodge.

Contemporary used to have a pretty large arcade that was dominantly "Get Tickets, Win Prizes"-based but again, a lot of good games (Simpsons bowling was one of my faves there.) I don't know what the state of it is now that they've done construction on the Food and Fun Center.

Swan and Dolphin had a pretty weak arcade. Might have had an Addams Family pinball machine if I remember correctly.

Beach Club had a good one. Definitely try the Mario Kart while you're there. It has Pac Man and the Ghosts in it. They're ONLY in the arcade version.

Polynesian has a few fun games. The only one I can remember is a Firefighting game. You use a firehose to put out fires. Fun stuff.

As for parks:

I imagine it's closed due to construction but there was a great arcade attached to the Space Mountain gift shop in Magic Kingdom. Disney themed DDR. Awesome Marvel superhero sidescroller. Among many others.

Check out Innoventions in Epcot too. They usually have some Disney Console games to play.

At Hollywood Studios go to Pizza Planet. Another good arcade, based on the one from Toy Story.

Well I ended up showing that I am a nerdy gamer successfully.
