Lonely - miss DH.

I'll be so glad when this darn DNC is over in Boston...and he can go back to working his regular hours.

The MA National Guards has him working nights....so we've been 2 ships passing in the night all week. Talk to him for about 3 minutes a day on the phone while I'm at work.

Just lonely. Ignore me.

We're all here to keep you company. Maybe you and your DH could write each other notes while you are passing just to fill each other in on what is going on with the both of you and to show each other how much you care.

Nope. I can't ignore you, because I'm in the same boat. My DH works for the railroad and he's been on the road almost constantly since May. The minute he comes home, he has to go to bed because he's knows it's only a matter of hours before he's called back out.

It's tough being alone sometimes. We can wallow in pity together.

Been there, done that more times than I can count. Plan a nice evening out after he comes home! That always helps me (not to mention getiing me away for the kids for a bit)!!

I understand exactly how you feel!! DH is a firefighter/EMT-I and is a paid firefigther for a city and is a volunteer Captain for the town we live in and the one next to us! Between this he is hardly ever home!!!



Make sure you make some time for the 2 of you when he is back to his regular schedule!!!

Well, he found a few minutes to call home. That'll get me thru the night I suppose.

I'll get to see him Sat & Sun......then Monday they send him off to Texas for the week.

Then home for a week.....then off to Washington DC for a week.

I'm here with the lonely now too. DH (Lt Col in reserves-mobilized to active duty) is in Va now and will be flying to Iraq for a year in a couple weeks. I still hope to fly up and see him off. We need a permanent lonely thread...

Awe, you poor dear.
You could always come to the Cape for some fun, we could sit around my pool and talk Disney or whatever you like to do.

Do you and Scott have a vacation planned? That would certainly pass some time while your missing him.
