to figure out how to attach 20 feet of battery operated(2-D-cell batteries), blinking, multi-color christmas lights to the Santa Claus hat that I'm going to wear to DIS-CON-II during the night events...lol.
O.K., before you say anything...I'm wearing shoes, I'm sitting down, but I do have the lights on because I like to see them blinking...lol.
And I'm not on the balcony, and I don't plan on doing any dancing either...lol.
I can't figure out how to attach all these lights to my hat, plus the two D-cell batteries are pretty heavy, too.
I thought about stapling them.
Or taping them or stapling them to the white furry inside part that goes around the head, and maybe...some how attach the tail end of the string on the end of the caps fuzzy ball thingie.
It would be nice to find an easier way(although stapling and taping work on my pants hem in an emergency.
I don't see how the tape would hold on this cloth and thats a lot of stapling.
Please don't suggest sewing, thank you very much.
Any ideas out there?
Plus,I would also like to wrap it around my Dan Murphy-style DIS-CON-I cap, too.
The second string, I can wear around my neck and put the battery pack in my pocket.
And thank you, Pixie Power! for thanking about me during your Christmas shopping. Ever since I opened my mail and packages, I've been having fun trying to figure out how to do this.
Eat your heart out green-gloved-Barb...lol. It's going to be hard to miss a big old fat man at night with blinking, multi-colored christmas lights on his head and around his patriotic, red, white, and blue shorts...I mean shirts...ROTFLOL.
