Very chilly this a.m., more overcast than yesterday. For us we call it blue jeans and polar fleece weather. Not sure what temperature is but definately chillier than yesterday. Seas in my opinion still very calm, way better than any of the seas on the 8 caribbean cruises we took last year.
The chilly/windy weather doesn't seem to bother my kids at all. They still spent 3 hours yesterday in the Goofy pool and hot tub and are still getting a vacation tan from pool time.
Lots of activities during sea days. Movies seem to be running all the time in the Buena Vista Theater. Yesterday there was a special presentation in the Walt Disney Theater (adult only) about the Disney Dream
Love hearing about the new ship.
Kids Sleepover in the Lab/Club is tonight.
In addition to the standard character breakfast and usual kids tea, there is the Princess at Sea Tea held in Lumieres (date based on dining rotation).
Today there is an activitiy where we can go participate in making a mural with Ducky Williams which will be placed in a childrens hospital in Barcelona.
Lots of "tastings" listed in the navigator for different types of wines/beers, etc.
Game shows seem to be held more frequently and there is lots of availability for spa/Palo, etc.
There was a lecture about the history of Transatlantic cruises.
In addition to Ducky Williams regular seminar you can sign up for a special class that you pay for. Haven't checked out the details but someone told me it's 40 dollars for 10 minutes. Will try and find out more info.
Gift shop of course has transatlantic logo stuff, some of it dated specifically for our cruise, some of it generic without date (thinking maybe that stuff will be used for both TA cruises).
Every time we walk by the rebooking desk, there is a line a mile long, which surprises me with it being a two week cruise.
When we walk by the computer/internet area, that too seems to be pretty full.
I think there are 1900 total passengers on board.
We are halfway through our 6 hour time change and not tired or cranky yet
We are platinum and today is the special behind the scenes galley tour. We've already done the castaway stingray and theater ones so it's nice they've added another option, and really looking forward to it.
The days are going by very quickly and I am so glad we are on this cruise (we are staying on for the MED after this).
