And to continue on...
My thoughts...
no problems with service whatsoever...
this was our first cruise and we were a bit discombobulated to say the least.. or the most (the word looks like it has way too many letters)... the rocking was wild but again i'm glad we prepared...
totally bummed with Grand Cayman ... I had a secret mission there, my father went there when we were all youngins to go scuba diving and sent us a post card... I didn't understand why "we" didn't get to go... so I wanted to conquer the island

then to get the whole fam up and fed at 5:00 a.m.... seeing the lights of the island ... getting excited since Capt. Tom had said weather looks iffy... then only to hear... we ain't a goin' ... but we arrived on time... and the other ships are leaving too (who cares about the other ships) was a major bummer... now what do we do at seven a.m booooooooooooo...
extraneous thoughts to those who have never cruised... rebook the first or second night... you can always cancel... the line and wait are a precious waste of time at the end of the cruise..... make sure you are always on top of your pics at shutters... the last night is utter.... well you know...
we went to the ruins at costa maya and that was a memory we will NEVER forget... a very long story cut short... we ended up with a party other than the party we planned from the boards due to many factors... bottom line... the tour was excellent, highly recommended!! but because we were the oddballs of the group we were in, we were in for a wild ride... the short of it is that after the tour ... the main tour group went to a village to have an authentic mexican dinner we dropped them off (this part of the trip was worthwhile to go into the villages!!) and then we were dropped of at "some" woman's house... who spoke nary a word of English ... the four of us got into her car for a mighty high speed drive of probably 30-40 miles back to port..
we did the eco tour at CC and it was way way more than i expected probably due to the rough seas but my 8 yo on the back i swore he was gonna pop off on every bump!!
again, I wish i had gotten to meet everyone... BUT it was wonderful to see all the familiar faces and well worth it!! I only wish we had the $$$ to meet you all again for Dec 2006... but that is too too much $... if we hit the lottery believe me we will be there... so for us... i will be venturing off to find the 2/11/07 group and hopefully (but not likely) find another great group to meet with!!
