Hello from the Magic. We are sailing back to Port Canaveral to turn the ship over to the next group of cruisers. They are going to have some extra delivery trucks at the port to reload the liquor, because there cannot be very much left on the ship.
The cruise staff on the Magic is fantastic. We went to Pub Night tonight in Diversions, and the performance is one not to be missed.
Our second visit to
Castaway Cay was simply Magical. As Lampy already mentioned, when we disembarked on the island, there was another cruise ship visible off in the distance. Several of us remarked that it looked like the Wonder. Well, sure enough, the Wonder sailed back and forth in front of the beach area. On her last pass, she and the Magic engaged in a horn blowing contest. Unbelievable! We are not sure what the Wonder was doing lingering around Castaway Cay. There were several rumors, one being that they were going to dock on the island with the Magic, another being that they could not dock at Nassau today because of bad weather. Right now, we have had smooth sailing all night, so it doesn't seem likely that the weather in Nassau was all that bad.
By the way, according to our Cruise Director, Brent, the last time the Magic and the Wonder were together at Castaway Cay was for the Millenium! Wow!
Christmas decorations are up on the Magic and on Castaway Cay. We had a snowstorm on Castaway Cay, and also tonight in the Atrium!
None of us want this cruise to end. It was simply Magical from beginning to end. Thanks for all the pixie dust! Watch for our photos.
