We're okay and sailing without incident!

Due to "problems with the satellite" I couldn't get an internet account up and running until 10 minutes or so ago.

The ship is gorgeous, as usual. The big screen over the Goofy Pool is functioning and the features shown on it are being called "Dive-in Movies." Food great, CMs friendly, as usual.

The boat is rocking a LOT more than I remember last year, though. There are a bunch of ill people on board, and last night the line at the gift shop for Dramamine purchases was quite long, from what I was told at dinner.

There is still a lot of work being done with the fitness center up at the front of the ship...a lot of items are covered with tarp, and as of sailaway yesterday many pieces of fitness equipment were down at the CM pool.

Here's hoping we hear from more than just me on this thread...I'm not usually a thread-started, but I couldn't leave you all hanging.

OH! and the lifejackets are much more comfortable now -- thinner around the neck.

And the chairs on the verandah recline now...I don't remember that from last year at all. It's nice. I reclined my all the way back, grabbed an extra pillow and blanket from the closet and napped out there while my husband watched Madagascar last night.

And we are definately rocking.

Glad to hear there were no big snags from the drydock. We're on the Wonder in January, but plan to rebook a 7 day on the Magic. I guess I'll have to live vicariously through everyone else on the Magic until then!

Ah...and apparently according to the nice gentleman who was sitting behind me and noticing that I was reading the DISboards...

...pools were not filled up at boarding...

...rainforest room wasn't functional yesterday...

...but it's still a great ship!

Some of the risks of post-drydock sailing, I guess. Consider us the guinea pigs for the 10/22 sailing.

NOW I'm logging out. Seriously.

The pool movies sound great! Does anyone know if the Wonder will get this at drydock next year? Hoping to have it on our 2007 four night for spring break!

Can anyone tell me if they are offering wireless access? I know a few months ago they had it in a few locations and it cost more than just regular internet cafe access - is that still the case? Any idea what the charges are?

Thanks - just trying to decide if we want to bring the laptop or not!
