Interesting! I just tried after seeing your post. Yesterday I was definitely not able to order MagicBands seeing a message that said that they were not currently accepting MagicBand orders for existing reservations.......today I am still not able to order them but that message is gone and instead I see:

New! You can now choose from complimentary or special pre-order prices on premium MagicBands. Order up to 11 days before your expected arrival date to have your MagicBands shipped to your home. Special pricing is valid online only.

And the days left to order changed from 2 to 26? But - there is no where I can click to actually go in and select which colors I want. The only thing I can click into are existing MagicBands to activate/deactivate and the "why" tag as to why I only have 26 days left to order......were you actually able to go in and select colors?

I was able to go in last night and select colors and order ours for our trip starting June 26th.
On a separate note, we originally booked Sat-Fri as a package, then I added Fri night at the beginning of the trip thru hotels.com. Then my daughter added Fri night at the end as a room only thru Disney. Not that I NEED more Magic Bands, but shouldn’t that be 3 separate bands for that trip? CM when I called a few months ago after adding the rooms said the rooms booked later couldn’t be added to the reservation with the package.

Same for me. Although i did check at 1 pm and the Covid 19 closure message was on the page- and went I just went back in that message is gone. Strange.

I honestly think Disney is now just waiting on the data and the governor's move to phase 2

The doctor at the OC meeting today seemed pretty happy so far the way things have been going in OC.

I think another week or so of the numbers going down Desantis will move to Phase 2 for much of Florida.

Not everyone has been receiving them on Wednesdays, but there have been cancellations on BOTH Wednesday AND Thursday. Why would this week, when early June cancellations are supposed to occur be the first week that no one is getting Wednesday cancellation emails? Could be nothing, or could be definitely be something.

When did you get it? I wouldn’t say people are excited, but this is the first time that by this time of day, we haven’t gotten word of cancellations. Plus Disney Springs CMs are getting to go back to work and parks open or not, that puts a smile on my face.

I will say mine didn't come until after 9pm ET last Wednesday for May 25, but there had already been several people here with last week of May reservations who had been notified starting after 5pm ET...so I agree, the fact that not one of those people has been notified is indeed unusual considering the typical pattern of rolling cancellations.

Not sure if I count. No cancellation for June 6th. DVC reservation at VWL. Shows in MDE and DVC website (I am aware of the delay in DVC cancellations).

I chose my magic bands as soon as I was allowed. Probably in February or March. They still show as shipment pending. If contactless check-in is going to be implemented, shouldn't the June 1st check-ins be receiving theirs soon? Perhaps this would be the next tracking metric if no new cancellations reported this week.

Someone said in the theme parks "covid" thread they were booked at Disney Springs Best Western on June 23 and they just got a cancellation notice saying they are cancelling all reservations until June 30.

I’ve just seen that at Disney Springs the Disney Owned stores are opening up Memorial Day weekend. Those CM called back. Still no cancellation....

They get an advanced FP+ window and can participate in Magic Hours. That’s about all they have in common. Disney wont cancel their resorts just because the good neighbors did

I think it makes sense if they're trying to control capacity to not allow in those that are staying offsite. I guess we'll see.

It could be the hotel needs longer to spin up or they worry about the cost of a stop/start. So they would rather stay closed until things are more of a for sure stable thing.

Maybe they (Good Neighbors) know that Disney wouldn’t have capacity to allow their guests to enter the parks, and rather than creating confusion, or potential confrontations they just decided to cancel reservations until the capacity expands. How many of their guests realistically stay at those hotels and don’t go to any Disney Parks? That’s all speculation on my end, I have no idea why they would cancel
