Linking Tickets

If I purchase tickets from a non Disney vendor for a group, is it better to link them all to my MDE or let each person link his ticket to his own MDE? If I link them all to mine can they all have access to them?

Each ticket must be linked to the correct person. So if they have their own accounts, it is naturally better for them to link them to their own profiles.

If you create new profiles for them (not sure why you’d want to do that) under your own account, it causes a great deal of confusion, and in the end you’d want to merge their profiles anyway, so you might as well do it correctly from the start.

Sometimes it works to send friend requests via email, but generally in my experience it requires a call to IT.

Why wouldn’t the correct person not just link the correct ticket after purchase? Why complicate the process?

If you are linked as "friends and family" and they grant permissions for you to view their plans, etc.
