Linking Reservation Question

I have made reservations for our 2017 vacation by calling Member Services. Because we have 2 contracts the cast member said our reservations need to be linked. She said that she did that. Will I see that on the website, the "linking"? How will I know that they are linked?

Thank you for any help. I've never had this issue before.
 
It's been a while since we linked but we are in the same boat with multiple contracts. Luckily, our last few trips have been short or split stays so we could do all the points on one contract. But the last time we had to spread the week over multiple contracts and "link" it was a cluster. Even though we got everything showing on one reservation number after linking, we kept getting "checked out" on the days where one reservation would have ended - to the point where one time my kids got back to the room from a park and their bands did not open the door because we had been checked out. This was 2 years ago, so maybe things are better now.
 
Anything out of normal and you run the risk of having issues. Verify everything with the front desk when you check in, expect the worse and hope for the best.

I will guess that you won't have to move rooms, 20% chance that you will have MB issues and an 80% chance that the room cleaning schedule will be messed up.

You're cracking me up! I really do appreciate the info. It's just making me laugh.

This was the one good thing about them messing up the linked reservation, they came and cleaned our room multiple times which included taking all of our plates/silverware out of the sink and running our dishwasher for us as well as giving us fresh sets of towels and supplies.

You won't see it so just verify when you check in that they have you down as a continuing stay and ask them what you need to do. In the past few months they seem to have gotten the system back so you don't actually have to go check out and check back in on the day that your reservation switches to the other contract but I'd still double check.
 
We've linked reservations several times. It only showed up as linked one time in MDE.

We recently had a trip that linked 3 reservations (BLT). We were told by MS on the phone that they were all linked. When we arrived, I went to the desk at check-in and only the first 2 were linked and the last night wasn't. We had to wait until the next morning so the CMs could get MS to take care of it.

Long story short, they were able to check us out and in again without us having to go down to the desk and check out/in but I was a little nervous we were going to get the boot. (On the second to last morning we still got the ME tags on the door. They said it was because technically we were checking out - than we received them again the next day.)
