Let's talk lime green

Can you find the lime green Mickey heads anywhere besides Home Depot? We don't have a Home Depot close to us. It's 1 1/2 hrs to the nearest one and I'm not sure when I will get to one. I have a couple of ideas that I thought of while reading all of your ideas. If you want to laminate and don't have the supplies you can simple buy clear contact paper at any Department store and cover the back and front with it and it will have the same effect. I have used this trick a lot and it really holds up well. I even used wallpaper border to make matching curtain tiebacks for our living room. The border covered in the clear contact paper has held up for 4 yrs now and that included kids pulling on them. Another idea I have is to use my scanner for my computer to scan in the Mickey Heads. I can get some printer address labels at Staples, Walmart, basically anywhere and print the Mickey Heads on the labels. I will be able to stick them on anything and everyone in my party. It should be low cost and I can customize them with any writing, clipart etc. Now all I have to do is get the Mickey Heads.

Do you think anyone at HD is wondering where all the green Disney paint samples are going? Especially if they are not selling much green paint! I have to say, I brought it home, held it up to the wall, and decided it wouldn't work there .

I bought homemade buttons at Joann's for $.99 and $1.39 they were easy to make! I have two already made one for DIS and one for my 20th b-day. I used a HD lime green mickey and used a Mickey hole punch. I'll take a picture of them.

JKanownik (Colleen): Those came out great! I think I am going to make a trip to Home Depot tomorrow afternoon (and Staples and Michael's, too). We will be there May 8th-19th (off-site 8-15 and CR 15-19). I hope I see someone!

Last time we went, I had just found this board about 3 days beforehand (but never registered or posted). I saw someone at BB with a lime green ribbon on her camera bag and actually asked if she was from the boards. She was, but since I hadn't really been around at all, we didn't have much else to say.

Just another thought...

Got my lime green cards again from H.D., got them laminated at Office Depot for 1.28 a sheet (around 8 of them), but what was so cool - at my HD they now have .....(rolling drum roll)....
Mickey Head Stamps! I was sooooooooo excited! Can you imagine the possibilities with lime green heads everywhere?

Im going to Disney in November and will be looking out for other DIS members. Im in the UK and I dont know of Home Depot. Is there anywhere else you can get these green Mickeys.
