Don't try to talk about how people follow the bible inconsistently. I pointed out on another thread that there are many outdated views in the bible that we no longer follow, and that maybe the bible's view on homosexuality was yet another outdated view. There was no response except to tell me that the old testament doesn't count.
And I would agree with you that a great number of Bible verses don't apply today. In fact, I think pretty much most of the Bible is outdated. I don't follow a Christian religion because I thought the entire thing was outdated.
I'm just saying that this school is supposedly very strict on following the "Christian Conduct" rule that there are so many rules in Christianity that they are choosing not to follow.
People shoudl just accept that the Bible is the same as the Constitution- a living document meant to be interpreted many different ways until the one fairest to all parties is found.
Currently, this school seems to have not found that way.
no way no how, not me!
