I have plenty thank you... And I see you have delved into one of the oldest arguement tactics. Don't like the message, then attack the messenger. Which by the way is against the rules here, even if your attack is framed as a friendly jab.

Words mean things, you don't get to pick and choose what they mean or when you wish to apply those meanings. It's part of the Critical thinking thing that Remus said I didn't posses, because I don't follow him lock step in his thinking. You stated emphatically that ALL DECRIMINATION IS WRONG. But then you turn around and discriminate. So apparently it isn't all wrong, it's just wrong you you dont' argree with the discrimination that is occuring.

And as I have said before you don't have to tolerate anything you don't want to, just as everyone else has the same right.

Reading comprehension is a good thing.

Who have I discriminated against?

People are entitled to their beliefs, Master.

Nowhere have I said people are not entitled to their beliefs.

But, we do NOT have to be tolerant of intolerance.

When you accept that this is not a world of definitions and analogies, then come back here and talk to me and have an actual debate.

This is not about definitions. This is not about cutesy little analogies. This is real life.

Discrimination against others for their sexuality is WRONG. Period.

What definition can you provide that tells me otherwise, Master?

You may recall that Haggard was fired and expelled from the church for immoral conduct. Should he sue, as well?

Is discrimination against others for their religion wrong? Or is that ok if the values that the religion espouses are ones you disagree with?

They give tickets to those they catch in the act, period.

Unless you know for a fact that this school has never expelled a straight kid for breaking that code of conduct.

One boy at my son's school got expelled for skipping classes and getting too many demerits. This is in middle school (private/Christian). They definitely can and will expel students if their behavior doesn't meet the standards set by the school. They also do random drug testing.:thumbsup2 There are many types of behavior that aren't acceptable to them.

I used sexual activity because that was the reason that these girls were expelled.
What exactly is the code of conduct, and what did they do?

it is still sinful, but it is not something that would cause public scandal.
So you are saying that pubic scandal is worse than sin - to a Christain school?? Sinning students can stay, but others must be kicked out of it creates a scandal? Wow.

Is there some document out there that told you the sins all the students committed in that school and who was and wasn't expelled?
That document would be the Bible, which tells us all have sinned. Since the school is open, it's pretty clear they didn't expel "all".

Would you feel the same way if the sex were between a brother and a sister? Would you feel that is morally wrong? I'm just using this as an example as to how we all have our own moral compass and are entitled to personal beliefs as long as they do not infringe on the personal beliefs of others.

Discrimination is always wrong, Master.

Your words above. You can reconcile it within your own mind however you want, but if discrimiation is wrong, then it is wrong. If one must be accepting of others beliefs then they must be accepting of everyones beliefs, even when they disagree with them.

As long as you bring up siblings, why not just go for dogs as well?;)

And it only took until now to bring up sex between siblings. :scared:

Discrimination is not just based on race or sexual orientation, one can discriminate based on religious beliefs as evidenced in this thread.

I think you were agreeing with me right? Because so far in this thread, I have thought you were right on.

Acceptance and tolerance are two very different ideals, Master.

And disagreement (even vehemently so) does not equate to discrimination.

Hold your religious beliefs. But, do not expect me to sit idly by when you use your beliefs to discriminate against others.

Again...this is about civil rights. When you use your beliefs to discriminate against others...I'll take issue.
