Just wondering how fun this is. I have purchased through my vacation package transporation and tickets to Legoland.

I plan on going on Oct 19th a Sunday for the day time brick or treat.

Would it be worth it to go or should I plan on a weekday without brick or treat?

We have passes to Legoland and attend Brick or Treat every year. It will definitely be more crowded than during a weekday. There is a trick or treat trail and some extra entertainment. The line can be quite long for trick or treating, but it moves pretty fast. If I were you, since this is your first visit, I would go during the week to wait in shorter lines and do more attractions. On weekends, some of the lines can be pretty long due to the slow loading and unloading nature of the rides, especially for the Sky Cruiser and Skipper School. Despite what many people on this board say, I think it's pretty much impossible to do it all in one day. We never have time to do everything we want, especially when they have the shorter 10am-5pm hours. We never even see the shows. In fact, we were just there yesterday and wished we had more time. My kids, DS11, DS9 and DD6, like to spend a lot of time in Miniland in addition to the rides. My boys are crazy about Legos and they are all over my house.

We first visited Legoland in 1999, the year it opened, and have been pass holders since our second visit in 2000. We go several times a year, so please feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

Thanks so much for the info. Maybe we will try Legoland on a Thursday then.
I was thinking the Brick or Treat would be fun for DS but I am sure he would rather go on the rides and see everything Lego then trick or treat.

We will be doing Mickey's Trick or Treat plus Halloween when we are back home.

Just one other question does Legoland decorate for Halloween like DL?

Yes, Legoland does decorate for Halloween, so you will still enjoy all the decorations even if you aren't there for Brick or Treat. There are lots of great Halloween photo opportunities. There is a huge Lego pumpkin near the entrance that your son can sit on. I always "make" my kids pose there for an annual photo. In Miniland, they addd lots of trick or treaters, skeletons, ghosts, witches, etc. to the scenes. Definitely don't miss the zombies at the graveyard in New Orleans or the bungie jumping witch at the beach in California. It's quite fun to look for all the Halloween elements.

I'm sure you'll have a great time! We just love it there.

Great thanks again! Can't wait to see it. Halloween is one of our favorite holiday.

Will look for the zombies as they are one of DSs favorite monsters!
