Do you think it would be ok to leave something other than a pillowcase for signatures? I found some white magnentic photo frames today and thought it would be cool to have them signed and then we'll put our embark photo in there and on the fridge.

 I have read several threads where people do leave those. They say they turn out way cool!!! I have a white Castaway Cay hat from our last cruise that I put away for this cruise..I am going to turn that in and have it signed--

I want to to do tank tops for my girls and my self and a ball cap for my husband and try to keep them a suprise!!! :cool1:

We had mats signed last cruise. I found bigger ones with a wide border at Dollar Tree yesterday & picked them up for our next cruise. :) The form they have for it has several things listed.

I've seen people drop off all kinds of things for siggies. :goodvibes

Have a WONDERful cruise Darlene!!! :thumbsup2 I'll try and capture some pics for you on Sunday. ;)

We did pink tee shirts for my daughter and her friend.

We just returned and had a white photo mat signed just like lb did. It came out awsome. I got ours at Michaels before the trip and dropped it at GS the first day. It was returned to us on Friday all done. Really came out nice. I put a pic from Castaway Cay in it and bought a frame yesterday at Michaels to hang it. :thumbsup2

Remember there is also a Captain's signing that is held every cruise outside of Treasure Ketch on Deck 4. It will be listed in the Navigator and is usually on a Thursday early afternoon during the 7 day cruises. Whatever start time is listed make sure you get there about 20-30 minutes before that as a long line does form.

The Captain will sign almost anything....I have seen things from photos, to the resin ship replica, photo mats, framed art, hats, t-shirts, trading cards, itinerary maps. I believe they limit you to 2 pieces. You can bring your momentos from home or have him sign something purchased onboard.....

Here is my ship replica signed by the Captain....on the other side of the replica is his signature.

And the Captain at a signing.....as you can see they seat him down at a small table so he can sign. He is set up right inside the doorway (door closest to WD Theatre) of Treasure Ketch.

Just as an FYI if you're buying a frame or mat for the embark photo..the embark photo we got on the 5/20 cruise was an 8X10- I was used to having the smaller ones. Even though I bought it since I have one from every trip, I'd have preferred them all to be the same size but there wasn't a choice. ---Kathy

Has anyone ever taken the CClub bag?

I left a plain cloth bag last time and it turned out great. Didn't think about the CClub bag for myself but I don't see why they wouldn't sign it. Although I don't think I'd leave it because I'd be afraid of not getting it back, but that is just me. I have always received everything I turned in back with signatures.

Kathy,

Get a copy of the copywright release from Shutters (I think its linked in the FAQ). Take your original photo to Walmart or Sams Club or where ever you normally see those photo machines. You can scan it and print out a copy of what ever size you want... then your photos will all match. :)

Thanks Andy, I'm so super excited I'm about to burst. The pre cruise anxiety/excitement causing me sleepless nights is already setting in and I still have three more "sleeps" till we set sail. I'd love some web cam photos.

This year I had message boards signed. They are about 8X10 with the ribbon criss-crossing into diamond shapes. I was a little concerned the ink would run on the material, but they turned out great and we hung them in the kids rooms when we returned. The kids were surprised b/c I did it without them knowing.

I've had the white mickey hands signed!

I have the fingers intertwined and it's sitting on my self!

Looks great!

I just returned yesterday and I got 2 photo mats signed. I will post a picture as soon as get all of my photos uploaded. I finally will be able to post on photo of the day!!!

Whisker...thanks for the suggestion about getting my 8X10 turned into a 5X 7. Now if only I had been able to pay for the 5X 7 vs. the 8X10, lol, but I always get the photo package as they always turn out so well and it's hard to get everyone together for a group photo anyway. ---Kathy
