I will be making a quick trip to DLR this Sept with an ECV. (It's the 70th birthday year for both me and DLR). Unlike most trips, I won't have a car. I use a Pride Go-Go ECV that I can easily take apart and fit into most car trunks. Is it reasonable to plan to take a taxi from SNA to my hotel, with my ECV in the trunk, or do I need to arrange some special transportation? Room for luggage should not be a problem, I will have a small suitcase and a backpack, both of which will fit in the trunk of my Hyundai along with my scooter, but they could fit with me in backseat if necessary.

Shouldn't be an issue, as long as you can dissassemble the ECV. You could use ride share. I'd go with XL, theoretically a basic X should work

If you can, fly into Long Beach instead, it is closer and if all else fails, a simple bus ride to Disneyland from there. But there are also accessible taxis, the best bet is to call the taxi company ahead of time and let them know when you plan to arrive, then you shouldn't have top wait for one.
