Hi - what the latest you can stand in line and get on Flight of Passage? AK closes at 7pm - what if you’re still in line at 7pm? Thanks

You can enter the line until 6:59 pm! Anyone in line before 7pm gets to ride! It’s a great strategy, the wait times are inflated to deter people from getting in line, and even if it is a little long you’re not missing out on any park time.

We have gotten in line multiple times for that and other rides in other parks just before closing. As long as you are in line before the park closes, you will get to ride unless the ride goes down. We have found near closing, the posted wait times are generally inflated.
We do FoP and SDD almost always at closing.

We got in line for FoP once the first year it was open about 5 min before close. The posted wait was just over 200 min. We waited 1 hr and 19 min. It was fun walking out when the park was empty too. And we got some great pics of the tree all lit up with no one around.

If you do get in line for FoP - or any other ride for that matter - right before park close, will there be Disney transportation to take you back to your resort when you are finished riding?

I don't know off the top of my head but there definitely is a time limit on transportation. I would go by the Disney site.

Yes. They won’t leave you stranded.

If you're staying at a Disney resort they will not leave you stranded. You may end up sharing a bus with people going to other resorts (and from other parks may have to take a bus instead of the monorail/skyliner/boats), but they will get you home.

This has happened to us before. A little longer bus ride stopping at a few resorts.
The buses are supposed to run for 1 hour after park close, but our experience is they generally run longer.

About 20 something trips ago… during our first stay onsite we left the magic kingdom at close and out of habit took the monorail to TTC thinking that’s where we could get a resort bus to CBR. We were used to doing this at close to get to our car. But of course the buses to the resorts are right outside the gate from MK. We spotted an off duty bus parked nearby and explained our confusion. We asked him if there was a way to get back to MK so we could get a resort bus. The driver was awesome and super nice about it. To our surprise and great appreciation, he gave us a private bus ride back to our resort!

The lines used to speed up after official park closing time because they no longer had to stop the SB line to let the FP folks ride. Now w/ no FP I’m wondering if the hop in line just before closing strategy still works?

10 years ago, this is what we would do on Expedition Everest. We'd ride it like crazy the last 30 minutes. No one was getting in line on it, when the rest of the day it was an hour long line.
