Well not too late. Where can you find "secret" snacks on the Fantasy at night? I was thinking about unusual or different foods around the ship after the normal dining times. I know that there are some food set up in between some of the nightclubs at night such as wings, nachos, and other finger foods. Is there any place that has chocolate covered strawberries?
Is there a place that is your favorite for food at night?

I guess we could also include "secret" food places at other times.

As you know there's the snack buffet set up in the adult area (usually for about an hour around 10:00 each night). I believe there's also a pub menu (extra cost). And Cove Cafe, as well as Vista Cafe, have finger foods. Don't know that any of those have chocolate covered strawberries, though. Generally night snacks are of the savory type.

Cove Cafe/Vista Cafe do sweet snacks in the daytime, however.

I didn't know about the snack buffet for adults. Where about is this? I know about Cove Cafe and Vista Cafe only. Thanks for sharing this info!

On the Fantasy, in the Europa area (adult only) along the passageway between Oh La La and the restrooms there's a buffet station (veggies & dip; some sort of deli sandwich; hot dogs; chicken wings on this one)

As I said, it's only out about an hour around 10:00, so you need to check the Navigator for the exact times.

In 2015, we specifically asked for chocolate covered strawberries for dessert bc DD is allergic to gluten and dairy/eggs, so most of the desserts were a no-go for her. The only ones on the ship available were to be ordered from room service and it was a premium package (romance package, maybe?)

They did bring her cut strawberries and a hershey syrup one night. But it just wasn't the same.

Also, I think there is a late night buffet thing after pirate night. We missed it because we did not know about it. We also had a chocolate fantasy dessert buffet one night (but it was a special 14-nighter cruise) and the lines were INSANE. By the time I got through, most of the good looking items were gone or almost gone.

I was on the magic last month and they did the best job I seen out of 19 DCL cruises. All the other times it seems like the food was only out for 1 hour in the bar area this time it seem like it was out all night. Hopefully this is the new norm.

I wouldn't call it a buffet per se - more like a feeding frenzy after the Pirate Night festivities. I swear you'd think no one had eaten all cruise based on the pushing and shoving and plates piled high. It was a little ridiculous.

They did a chocolate buffet in the afternoon when I was on the fathom Adonia over Christmas week (apparently something special for that week as the impact guides said they didn't remember there having been one before), and while it seemed like pretty much everyone lined up for it, they moved us through quickly - probably helped along by the fact they had servers putting what we wanted on our plates. It was remarkably civilized.

I hope so. I think the 1 hour window was just too short.

my husband likes to eat a snack before he can sleep. We usually order room service

I will say that for pirate night and NYE when they have food it only stays out for about 1/2 hour. I know that when the pirate buffet was on deck I waited until the rush was over and they started taking it down when I got there. Now I make sure if I want something, I need to be part of the rush.

On our Baltic last year, there was a falsely announced buffet (as in they didn't have it and accident announced there was) and the crowds at the doors to Cabanas. Poor cast members :(. Complained to GS since they were telling kids to go into the adult area for snacks.
Anyway, Promenade Lounge (On Magic/ Wonder) has snacks set out; not sure about Dream/ Fantasy since haven't been on them in a while

My experience on the Magic/Wonder is that Promenade Lounge has chips and salsa, sometimes sour cream. The late night buffet in the past has been in Diversions (whatever it's called now). That one had hot dogs, sauerkraut, biscuits, veggies & dip, chips and dip, chicken wings. A regular feast.

This buffet was on frozen night, so it was suppose to be a desert buffet. Real pain since cast member seemed to disappear after the announcement

Sometimes the Cove Cafe has chocolate covered strawberries although it's hit and miss and usually in the daytime. They do have sweet snacks out before 5-6 pm and then savoury items. They may switch back to sweet in the later evening, but we do late dining so aren't usually looking for more food after 10:30. I was in there once at 10 pm for a cognac tasting and I think that I may have seen people coming in and getting something sweet but I can't verify that my memory is accurate especially after 5 glasses of cognac.

And don't forget about late night room service. Cookies and Mickey Bars, not chocolate covered strawberries, and of course the rest of their menu, cheese platter, wings, etc. They will only deliever to your room, but once they arrive, you can take it where ever you want. Or if your teen-aged kids are sleeping inside the room, you can meet the delivery person outside your door, and then just prove it is your room by opening the door and then closing it again. ...or so I've HEARD.
