The other two are clearly holding diamond engagement type rings. And when they show Reid on a balcony it appears to be a band type ring only. Almost like a promise ring would be.

Maybe she chooses him and his promise to open up and love.

I figured that maybe they were sunburned, tired and maybe he was a little put off by the thought that she had two other "sleepover dates" and he was third in line.

Maybe he wanted it to be more special and they just did some edits to make it look worse than it was.

...I guess.....I got the impression that the batchelors/batchelorettes really don't , ummmmm, errrr, 'go all the way' with each of the final 3, but that the way the show edits it, makes you THINK they are.....
