Tomorrow should be fun - I'm taking off work early, around 1, so that I can drive 2-1/2 to 3 hours to pick DD up so that we can turn around and drive 2-1/2 to 3 hours back up here! Doesn't that sound like fun? Only way we can work it out for her to get her car back! Of course, she can't afford to have it fixed - and we felt sorry for her - and besides it was ONLY $700!

A.J. came home from school today with an invitation...

"You have been selected from among your peers!"

Inside it reads, "You have been nominated for the Fall 2008 Spotlight. This event is a time for us to honor you for some very special traits that we have seen you display. Please join us on November 17th - bring your family and let us spotlight you!"

I also got an email from his teacher to let us know that the invitation was coming home with him!

Sounds pretty special!

Still don't know what was "stolen" from Pam.

its stupid, but my aunt put three toys r us sunday inserts (you know the big toy book) to take to my neice and nephew in MA -- and the neighbor took them out of my mailbox. Now, if he takes stupid free things that come in the sunday paper.... what else is he taking!!! that is why I was so upset. not because he stole anything worth while! sorry about the vent and run on Friday.

My dryer quit working AGAIN this morning! I had some laundry in there and went to check to see if it was dry - and it was almost dry but still damp - so I shut the door and went to turn it back on. You can hear the motor hum but the thingee doesn't start to go around! So now I get to wear a damp shirt to work! UGH! And this is the dryer that I got brand new last February and this will be the third service call on it!

I was wondering if it was the same dryer. Amazing that they can't fix it!!
