Hi everyone.

Sorry I haven't been around much this week. Busy week for us!

I just want to stop by here to ask that you keep our friends in your thoughts and prayers. I've posted MANY times talking about our friend's daughter, Emily. Emily was diagnosed with leukemia three days after her 12th birthday in 2001. She has battled this disease for six and a half years and her battle included a bone marrow transplant.

Emily lost her battle early this morning! I can't even imagine what her family is feeling.

I hope that everyone will continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

We are staying at the Swan the 17th - 20th

but here is the weird part
we aren't doing DISNEY

we are staying there cause of a heck of a deal I got but we are gonna go to Universal

Well I got all the Ventian plaster up(12-5 yesterday)-at least the 1st coat-now just a finishing coat and then a top coat and then we can reconstruct it!!!

DH was impressed with how the BR turned out-so am I-It looks so nice and I'm only 1/2 done!!!!


But I'm taking a couple days off since I work tonight and Friday night-then I have 4 days off so we'll be all done by next Tuesday

Well I am hoping since my kids were part of the decision they will be oK
and if they whine it will be OH WELL you helped decide

they are looking foward to the Mardi Gras parade at universal

I'd love to make it career! But nope this is just a small re-do project since my Parents are visiting in June and that Guest BR really needed some work

I was just going to paint and change out a light fixture/faucet-but the wallpaper was applied directly to the drywall and this was a quick fix solution my friend came up with

except it's not that quick-but the results will be worth it in the end
