My Uncles pacemaker decided not to work
so they had to stop his heart and then restart it

and My friend Danille who is due with her first child in Jan
just found out they will be doing a c sec in a week or two
they little girl has a tumor with rapid growth on her back

sometimes Real life is NO FUN


so what else is new around here

some good news????

man... when it rains it pours in your area!

no good news here, everything is the same. I am so tired, I have been working 30 hours for the past 2 weeks, 33 hours next week. Not counting the housework, and 3 hours at the kids school everyday. And homework, etc.

I came home from work last night at 12:45am and the dishes still weren't done. Since the kids pack and we use containers they HAVE to be done every night, so I was up doing the dishes What the heck did my dh do last night? I made sure the kids had their homework done b4 I left for work, dinner was an easy one.......

WHAT A WEEK

Sunday took Erica to Urgent care

Mon to her Dr

Tues to hospital for AB Ultrasound

Yesterday 6 hours in the ER

they did and IV contrast CT scan

and finally found the problem

some viral infection causing swollen lymph nodes

She has been in so much pain but

should be getting better soon

Miss you all

hopefully after Thanksgivng things will get back to normal

OMG! I am so sorry she has been going thru this.

I really hope she gets better soon. Is she home now?

DH had Sat Sun Mon and Tues off

he took them off to get stuff done

and you know what got done

his computer fanstasy stuff and sitting on the couch

i am sure there was some good things but i can't remember them now

and until she can go more than an hour without a pain attack

i can't really send her to school

Thanks Kayla-just trying to make sense of it-Just contacted my company I worked for-No they never even received a bad reference/evaluation of my performance-so was my new manager lying to me-she told ne it was from "my company" what?????

this is all giving me a headache-thanks for offering to make a reference for me

glad to hear DD is doing better-lets hope this will be the end of it-and she can get on with being a cute 11yo

you are going to have to work so much harder now to overcome any type of bias that your new boss has added to you

Sometimes those evaluations are so useless... you get bosses giving hard working people bad ones b/c they don't like them/get along with them, then you have giving the lazy good ones b/c they're friends

exactly-this is such bull!!! I'm bring it to HR attention-since my employee handbook says if I disagree withan performance eval I need to go thru them

Gosh Liz-I would be very unhappy at my DH if that happened-well it has happened-same here last night-he made chili-I came home packed it away and had to clean up after all of them-what a mess!!! Men wont they ever learn!!!

Glad to hear she like the B-Day wishes!!! Sorry to hear she is still in so much pain-that has to be rough!!!! Tell we're all praying for her to get better

WOW KIM!!!! I thought it was illegal (or at least unethical) to give a negative reference. I thought the most you could say was that you had "no comment" or that you would/would not hire a person again....but that you were free to state anything postive. If, there were reading your personel evalution...that that just seems wrong!!!!! I would be using words not fit for the DIS too

If it means anything...I think your are great and I appreciate having an experienced, knowlegdle internet nurse when my DD is sick with the fever at 1 in the morning

Thanks for the code Kelli,most likely I'll order them after the kids go to school

They told me they will be watching me very close-and if I step one inch out of line-that will be it

I wish they would look at my last jobs,but negative reports always carry for much more impact than good-it really shocked my new boss(and me) and she's really worried that she has just hired a loose cannon

I just can't understand it-it just seems like I went from a great nurse to a rotten one in 13 weeks-just don't understand I called my old boss she can't believe it either-she said they must of got the wrong person-so I think everything will be fine-once I prove myself to them-I just shouldn't have to prove myself-my record should-this is really a shock to me

It was written after I left-I just have to try and put this behind me-it really sounds like a personal attack-and I think til I read the report for myself-I wont get this settled in my mind til then

sorry for being such a downer this morning-I feel very sad this morning-I guess the shock is wearing off-now just disbelief and anger

try not to worry/think about it till you get a chance to read the report. It is common to have things written about your work after you leave a job? In education you have to sign anything before they put it in your "file"
