I can relate to that!





For now, it looks like we'll be staying home. We had some unexpected expenses, like both the van and the truck in the shop in the past ten days and our trips to PA, and $$$ is a little too tight to think about summer vacation right now. So we've decided to just work on the greenhouse and work on saving some $$$ and paying down a couple of bills!

We'll do some free stuff around here. The campground that our friends own, where I'm going to be working, has a stocked lake and the boys can fish there whenever they want. They really like that!

Peace of mind is more nurishing than any far away plans Fishing on the lake and camping sounds like so much fun...I bet it is so beautiful in the summer is the lake close to where you will be working...it would be really cool if they could fish while you work

we haven't decided which time we are gonna go see the movie yet. so we're either gonna go see the 7 show or the 10

Thanks! I need to keep remembering that. Right now the budget isn't giving us much peace of mind. Seems a whole lot came at us at once and has really hurt us budget-wise. We haven't been in this position for a long time and, quite frankly, I don't like it!

Fishing on the lake and camping sounds like so much fun...I bet it is so beautiful in the summer is the lake close to where you will be working...it would be really cool if they could fish while you work

The lake is right there where I will be working. The campground office is in a building that has a game room attached to the back of the building and then a few steps out of the door of the campground office is the lake. Only thing is that I'm not comfortable with them fishing while I work because I like to keep a close eye on them. Parts of the lake are pretty deep, plus even though I'll be right there in the office there are going to be lots of campers which means lots of strangers.

Our friends have said that they will find jobs for the boys, though, so that they can earn some money this summer too. They are really good with A.J., too!

That would be cool if they could get a summer job at the lake..lucky boys! my first non-family jobs were babysitting...then at 14 and 15 I worked at Taco Bell...I would have much rathered being at a fun campground....but didn't have much choice, my sister was working across the parking lot at Jack-n-the-Box
