This is DHs long weekend off but he's got some off-duty work tonight and tomorrow night!

He just found out that the guy that is supposed to do the dozing for him is going out-of-town for the weekend. DH was figuring since the weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow he'd finally get that done. He does have a friend coming over, though, to help him get some other stuff going tomorrow. One of these days he'll finally get the greenhouse up!

sometimes I am the only grown-up at home even with DH there :rotfl2:

Did you ever decide what you were going to do this summer/vacation plans? I remember at one point either WDW or New York, then it was back to DollyWood APs...but I know you have your home projects with the green house....just wondering what you decided :goodvibes

I hope they get going soon...too bad you didn't live near us, some of the men in my family do earthwork for fun

If the guy you have coming out there is really good, you are better off waiting anyway. You don't want someone who doesn't do a good job to come out there and you end up with settling or drainage problems later...good things come to those that wait....right :confused3

I am not sure since I am impatient myself :blush:

For now, it looks like we'll be staying home. :guilty:

We had some unexpected expenses, like both the van and the truck in the shop in the past ten days and our trips to PA, and $$$ is a little too tight to think about summer vacation right now. So we've decided to just work on the greenhouse and work on saving some $$$ and paying down a couple of bills!

We'll do some free stuff around here. The campground that our friends own, where I'm going to be working, has a stocked lake and the boys can fish there whenever they want. They really like that!
