Hey, hey, hey! You're talking about me behind my back. I'm here now so it's not behind my back anymore!

Anyway, I'm downloading pics now.

That is no fun :confused3
We go to a local tree farm and walk thru the trees
pick on out
cut it down
drink hot cocoa

make a whole afternoon of it :teeth:

although I am guessing you don't have any local tree farms down there

Matter of fact I do believe we have some. But they are NOT the kind of trees I want.

Unlike Kathy we just go to the local Home Depot to get ours. That is how the City Folks do it. :rotfl:

I just talked to a friend of ours down in FL yesterday. They bought theirs at Home Depot in St. Pete. Got it three or four days ago, brought it home and put it in the tree stand with water, went to decorate it yesterday and all the needles were falling off. She said that they could actually sit in the room and hear the needles hitting the floor.

So far so good.

But mine holds NO decorations at this time. Soon very soon.

Just not tonight.
DD is doing a dance in the Christmas Night Parade tonight. :cheer2:

She does that every now and then doesn't she. Annoying isn't it?? Leaving us for - uh - work and patients! :rotfl:

Sorry I keep deserting you-well I'll try again to fill you in-OK

Sorry in advance for the vent-

Well I get to work at 11pm and not aware that some idiot girl/RN has taken a pair of patients along with orientee of a new RN who will finish her orientation in a week-usually they take two patients tops and she feels like she's super nurse and can handle more-well surprise surprise when they can't-Hello these patients are in the ICU for a reason-they are a little sick-duh

so silly me didn't realize that she had a pair and an orientee and asked if this was true-all of a sudden I have two people yelling at me that we aren't helping and it has nothing to do with her having a pair of patients on top of an orientee who doesn't know how to handle all this-please give me a break-just calm down and breath

We have alot of nurses who have never worked on the floor(general medical area) and had to learn to prioritize their assignments and problems when it comes to taking care of more than 1 patient-so this happens occasionally where they freak out and become Miss Drama Queens-anyways I don't know if this makes sense to you or not-this is really a nursing issue that occurs more than it should due to lack of some nurses skills when it comes to handling more than one thing at a time-and you guessed it they're single and have no kids-multi-tasking is not their strong point!!

Sorry for the long vent-I feel better

:grouphug: Vent whenever you need to. That's what we're here for. Isn't it funny though how multi-tasking and prioritizing seems to be an acquired skill from having kids. And the more kids the more skill!

Hey all!! :wave2:

Kathy I'm glad you're here! I was really gonna call you if I didn't see you today!

We got a good couple inches-although no snow day here-like Kaylas kids got-my kids will be so disappointed :guilty:

We got about 4 inches of the white stuff-don't think there will be a snow day here-since most of it fell before midnight-I just hope the roads are better on my way home

Kids have a snow day today! WooHoo! We don't have any snow but we've got ice. But it's switching to rain and slowing going away so I think it'll turn out to be a nice day. We're going away for the weekend and I'm sure we'll be able to get out of here by noon.
