Are there ever last minute deals for hotel rooms or packages? My boyfriend and I are looking at going for a long weekend in two weeks. I know it's a long shot, but I wanted to see if you guys had any hints. Thanks!

I have looked on there. Unless we get APs it looks like the deals are into mid April. Is there any other place to look?

You could check 3rd party sites like Orbitz to see if they have any special offers of their own. But Disney doesn't do last minute discounts. They don't have to. Especially not at this time of the year- between Spring Break and Easter, this is one of the busiest times of the year.

This is one of the benefits of the AP. You can book with a discount right up to the day before you go. I saw your other post and know you are on the fence. I usually stay deluxe, and free dining as great as it sounds, would not make sense for me. The regular room or AP rate is always better (and I like hat the AP rate has options right before.) but, if you typically stay value or moderate, it isn't as large of a discount.

The only thing I can think of are the third party sites like Orbitz or Cheaptickets that sometimes have 15-20% discount codes.

This might be a good time to stay at POFQ or LM rooms. Since they are rarely discounted by Disney anyway, I would choose one of those if available just because I normally would not choose them due to lack of a discount.

That is a pretty good deal. I booked a resort at a non-Disney location for July and got the 20% discount. Not bad.
