My oldest will be 30 on Saturday (boy does that make me feel OLD). She just texted me and asked if I was getting Domino's for Dinner tomorrow because the night before I went into Labor with her (at like 4am) her dad & I had Domino's pizza for dinner. Funny enough I was planning on getting Pizza just not Domino's. Maybe I should.

Do you remember what your last meal was before you went into Labor?

I have no clue with my youngest. I was induced at 3pm but have no clue what I had for lunch that day.

I remember what we had. Sloppy Joes and oven baked fries with no salt. I was on bedrest and a no salt diet. I cheated and played some croquet after we ate that night. I went to bed that night sad because I wanted a May baby (why I have no idea) and it was May 30th and no baby in sight. Our son was born at 9 am the next morning.

I have no clue with the older 2, but with my youngest it was IHOP pancakes. I never eat there, but woke up that morning with a craving for their pancakes and we drove 45 min each way to get them. She will be 18 next week.

No clue. It was 17 and 14 years ago. I never went into labour myself. DD1 was induced and DD2 was a repeat c-section.

Yep. DH and I went for Chinese at lunch on our way to the hospital. I also remember it was almost 40 hours until my next meal thanks to an induction and long, rough labor followed by a few of hours of sedated sleep. :faint:

No clue & it was only 2 1/2 years ago. But, I didn’t actually go into labor but ended up in emergency c-section after a routine dr appt & then DS ended up in nicu for 2 weeks & had surgery so everything before that is a little hazy now.

I had cheesecake factory for lunch went into labor in the evening. We had a funeral that day for a family friend of my parents so they were hanging out at my house after since my hubby was out of town at a conference. DD decided to come 2 weeks early on the day my husband was flying back home. He brought me cannolis from mikes pastries in Boston so that was my first “meal” after giving birth. 😂

I don't remember what I had before either girl. With my first, though, I didn't eat for about a day and a half, and I remember the sandwich they gave me after was the best I ever had 😂

The only thing relating to last meals before the birth of either of my two sons is the head nurse coming into my room once they'd settled me in to ask if I'd like a sloppy joe because that's all she could find for me. It was 11:15amish. I'd gone into labour at 7am so had eaten nothing since supper the evening before.

My second son was born 1 1/2 hours after labour started. No epidural or anything, no time!

I don't remember.
With DD I didn't feel good for most of the day, so probably not much.
Long time ago!!

I don’t recall. But a couple days recovery after a very unplanned c section, my then husband brought me some crab legs in the hospital (I had a private room so no one had to smell it.

Great, now I want some crab legs lol

I'm glad everything turned out OK. That sounds like such a stressful situation. :flower3:

Oh I sure do remember! We went to Ruby Tuesday and I chose the salad bar. The reason I remember is because the next morning it all came up during my emergency c-section and the anesthesiologist said,"wow, you sure ate a lot..."

Just wanted to say congrats on the grandbaby, it's a fun job:)

The night before going in for induction, we had stuffed rigatoni from a little Italian restaurant down the street, with salad and bread. I am not a huge pasta fan, especially with red sauce, but that last week before having DD I craved pasta; clearly my body was carb-loading! So Tuesday night I had rigatoni, Wed. morning went in for induction, and DD was born at almost 9am on Thursday. Of course the hospital wouldn't let me eat (they were SURE that I was having this baby at any minute) so on Wednesday evening my sister smuggled homemade meringues into me, which I snacked on all night. They tasted like heaven!!

With my first I don’t remember what I ate, but for some reason I craved the smell of dry erase markers. I do recall sneaking in a few quick sniffs the day my water broke.

With my 2nd I ate an ENTIRE pan of brownies before bed and went into labor that night. I always tell my daughter that she was 7 pounds 1 ounce at birth, but she would have only been 6 pounds if I hadn’t eaten all those brownies.

With my 3rd, no idea!

First one we had gone out to a nice pizza place before my induction but they gave us the wrong pizza so then I got the right one and took it to go and ate at the kitchen counter before going to hospital since my husband had to take his car into shop before we went to hospital
I cant remember what I ate before going in for the 2nd induction but I did eat something. And I had a muffin saved for post labor (I had gestational diabetes with 2nd one)
